I had an appointment in the area and Taqueria Acapulco was on my list of restaurants to try so I decided to check them out and I'm glad I did. I had the country sausage and egg breakfast plate, which was totally delicious. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. The potatoes were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Aurora was my server and she took really good care of me. She gave me a sample of their menudo when I asked if it was spicy. It tasted really good and I got a bowl to go. I can't wait to return

The server is really friendly. We had six to our table and waited for the rest of the group. They were very nice about the wait and kept giving us free chips. This is not just a mom & pop place, but I'm pretty sure lots of extended family members were helping. Everyone was very nice. The places is dated but most of the dishes were good and the service was great. Plus the prices were really low for the good quality of the food. We did have one dish where the chicken breast was cold and they had to re-heat it back in the kitchen. The green chicken enchiladas were really good and our favorite.

This is our go-to spot! We're there at LEAST once a week for the breakfast tacos. You can tell that they care about the food so much! And the inside of the restaurant is so so cozy. We have had so many wonderful memories in there.And the service is incredible! They are quick and compassionate. It feels like you're with family!

My quest for good breakfast tacos in Universal City brought me to this restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised. Don't let the recycled building fool you - it use to be Mr. Gattis years ago. But the food is flavorful, and the portion sizes are more than average, and the service is awesome. Finally, Pat Booker boasts many Mexican restaurants, so include this establishment as well because you will be pleased!

Great food super fresh. We went around lunch time but really wanted breakfast they said no problem. The staff is super sweet and attentive. We had breakfast tacos and the torta it was so good we came back the next day for more tacos and this time I had the enchilada plate piping hot and oh so good. Absolutely no complaints.

This place was recommended From a co worker. The food was not bad. We tried there breakfast. Price was decent . They do serve tripas. The only thing I didn't like was they chop up the tripa instead of giving you a piece . The people there are very nice .Plan on trying lunch and dinner soon

To me, a hidden gem in Universal City. Just a good place to get a very decent meal. Service is good, food is good, prices are good. We've been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so all around great place to catch all three meals. Place has plenty of room for small and large parties. Has an extra room for big parties. Parking is kinda limited.

Soooo this place used to be my go-to taco spot. I keep going because their picadillo is always consistently good. But their salsa is a a hit or Miss and the other tacos just haven't been as good as they used to be. Service is really good always. Dining in is usually better than getting to go
