Tandem San Antonio

Have been coming to Tandem since its inception. I wish I was egocentric enough to believe that's enough 5 star validation. From the beginning Tandem has focused at being a member of the community and is utilized for everything from comedy nights to district meetings, rummage sales to trivia nights. Being on the edge of South Town you get all vibes without the higher prices for beer, coffee, soda and snacks. Ample space inside, along with a massive patio and "backyard". It's easy to be a local here without being a local. Always enjoy my time while at Tandem and look forward to coming back every time. **this is not a spot for viewing/watch parties**

Such kind staff! I went to my bestfriend's birthday party and they helped all of us out a ton with dj deck set up and speakers. They were so fun I'm so glad I got to go here. I didn't have any food here but they were super awesome and I got a hot chocolate because it was cold which was yummy!

Cool place with a great vibe! Perfect for a stop on your bike tour of the missions. My friends and I always hit tandem when we get the group together. It is just a short distance from the riverwalk, and cater to coffee and beer drinkers alike. The coffee is solid, and a respectable beer collection. They have a cool inside sitting area that is like someone's living room, and they have a large area outside as well, complete with games to keep you busy. By the way, the service is always great!

This place is so comfy. The music is great, lots of seating, the drinks taste amazing. The service has always been friendly during my visits. It's a great spot to catch up with a friend or two. Also a great spot to connect to wifi and get some work done.

Few, truly pet friendly spots in SA. This is one one of them. Extra plus with a friendly staff, positive, laid back vibe. New fave!

Attended the Talk that S&$t event on the last Tuesday before the election and loved it.

Cute coffee shop / bar! We enjoyed our coffees and a game of chess and a game of shuffle board before heading out to the rest of our day. The staff were super nice and answered all our questions. Definitely want to come back next time we are in the area! They have live music and an outside space that looks fun.

The fomo is real. I can't believe I just found out about this place. It's so cute. They have all the drinks, including a great beer selection. There's plenty of seating. Vibes were vibing. Service was great. I didn't try any food but maybe next time. I loved my visit here so much that I'll go out of my way to stop here when I'm in the area.

Casual coffee beer wine and more bar with laid-back vibe. Snacks and pastries. Makes a decent cap - in a mug. Good and friendly people, roomy with couches in abundance along with tables and chairs for two, four or six, plus games. Copious outside seating area. Doesn't look like much but I'd call it 'homey' comfortable and very relaxed. I like it.

this is a really cute place I've visited a couple of times before, and enjoyed their coffee quite a bit! much is to be desired for their food, though. I ate here for the first time and wasn't really impressed, especially when I compare what I go to the photo on the website. for $14 I'm pretty disappointed, as I'd expect much more and can get much more from other places. I felt like I was eating school cafeteria food. other than this, I thought the coffee was great and always have! I highly recommend the coffee. everyone that works here is super sweet and great and I can't fault them for the food much, especially because it doesn't seem like they have a fully functional kitchen (my heart dropped when I saw the girl cooking with an air fryer). just doesn't seem worth the price. still, though, if you want a great cup of coffee or a latte, this is a great spot to get that, especially if you need a chill place to sit, sip, and study. just be weary of the food!
