Good stuff! Great lunch specials! The service was great, they kept my sweet tea full. The tortillas seemed to be store bought, not homemade. But you can't have it all. The salsas were delicious!! Made fresh, and wonderfully spicy. I will certainly return! The decor was a little weird. The exterior is painted with details of the previous Spurs Championships, but not very professionally done. But that in no way detracted from the experience. In fact, I think it may have added to the hole-in-the-wall ambiance.

Decent hole in the wall for good cheap eats. Pros: horchata and beer, very good service, wide selection on menu, above average food. Cons: In seedy location next to pawn shop, specials not always available, and quirky hours (closes at 2 or 3pm). All being said I'm definately going back.

Never again! As a client, I expect a great customer service. I have been in this place 3 times. The first two, the service was good, Cozy and not busy at all. The prices are not cheap, but they are affordable. This last time, a week ago. I went to eat by myself. I got in there at 1:30pm and they were already cleaning up. They close at 3pm. In the last two ocassion while I was waiting for my food, I received a complemetary soup. This last time, I was the only client not receiving the soup or anything while waiting. We were only 5 clients. I was intrigue why I did not get the soup, and asked the cashier? She told me she realized I was not given the soup and even asked the waitress, but the waitress just choose not to serve it for me, even when she had plenty of opportunity to do so. But if I want it I could get mine to go. The funny part is I went expecting the soup, I was craving for it and even recommended this place in past because I thought it was nice, not regular chips but soup. Obviously, the waitress judge you and decide I did not deserve the soup, which means she doesn't deserve my business either. The place decoration is not appeal and looks dingy inside. The food is good though. Good thing is there are hundreds of excellent food, nice inside decor, good customer service and better hours of operation in San Antonio to eat Mexican food, don't waist your time ang go to a different place.
