Taco Express

I have been coming for years and it is my favorite place for tacos in the area. From bacon and egg to picadillo and everything in between, these tacos do not disappoint. There are some tables inside to enjoy the tacos there, but most of the time I order them to-go. The staff are always friendly. They are efficient at making large orders and you can call ahead to cut down on wait time. Check them out!

Been eating here since they opened when I was in high school. The food is 11/10. Whenever I'm remotely in the area, I have to go get tacos at least. And the ladies know me so it's nice. I don't recommend going right before school starts or right after it ends though. There will be way too many annoying, barely post pubescent boys on skateboards lol. Oh and they close at 3 and are not open Sundays. If you get there and think "the ambiance isn't so great, maybe we shouldn't eat here", no. That is how you know where the best Mexican food is. Ugh I love them so much.

10/10. The supreme burrito is like what Taco Bell's supreme burrito is based off of. The picadillo was so flavorful. Cheese melted just right. They feed you as well as your family would.

***First time*** PRICEY but worth it. $15 for (6) tacos: 4-Bean N Cheese, 2-Beef Fajita. After trying the tacos I didn't care about the price, especially the beef fajitas DELISH. The shop is very quaint has the feel of a quick in and out taqueria. The clerk was very quiet and all about business, no small talk. She was very proficient. I will definitely be going back. I hope to try more of the menu..maybe a quesadilla next time.

Great tasting tacos wish they were bigger but great prices and quality. Can't go wrong with this Mexican Joint.

Man this was my taco spot in high school! Conveniently located across from Madison HS, we would all go before school started. Taco Express is so amazing back then and as a Millennial I appreciate the nostalgia of coming home to see my parents and hitting up the Taco Express in the morning (plus they still have their prices from high school!). I come home partly to see my family but mostly because of the Tacos. Try the carne asada!

How in the hell did I not know there was a breakfast taco place by my house??? Seriously, I always end up waiting AAALLL the way until I get to my work area to pick up a breakfast taco when I'm jonesin', and here is one maybe only a 2-minute drive from my house. I'm such an idiot.So this place opens up at about 6 AM for the morning crowd, and there is literally ZERO line when I come here. I usually keep it simple by ordering a chorizo & egg and a bacon & egg. Price wise, it's pretty standard; same with the flavor. And service is also pretty quick. But for me, it's the CONVENIENCE of being able to drive just up the road and then head to work quick that is my reason for the 4 stars.

Best taco place ever!!Food is always hot and fresh and the best quality!!!You're cheating yourself if you haven't stopped in!!! :) Sooooo good! I'm there three times a week :)

Still some of the Best tacos in San Antonio. They know how to flavor the meat perfect whether it is bacon and egg or their beef fajitas with guacamole. You get a good portion of food. The employee and the owner are very professional and courteous. The restaurant is always clean and tidy. Thank for all the good and your kindness. Best wishes in the future.

Stopped by with the wife on Saturday morning. We got a couple of breakfast tacos. The tacos are good size and the prices were reasonable. The cashier was friendly and helpful. we dined in, the chairs are metal and a bit uncomfortable so not for seating for a long period of time.
