Taco Blvd makes some excellent traditional tacos. They are affordable, have a variety of sizes, and delicious. Located in the 1604 area, the restaurant is fairly small with about 8 - 10 tables. It is clean and sparsely decorated, and I love the pictures of various well known celebrities with Catrina face painting. Staff is friendly and efficient. I have ordered from them quite a few times, and their tacos are always well cooked and prepared. I also think their salsas are absolutely fabulous. I can't recommend this place enough, especially if looking for al pastor tacos and quesadillas.

I was CRAVING some loaded mini tacos, and wasn't sure if San Antonio really offered anything like that but I was determined to find some... & BOOM. Taco Blvd delivered.I was highly impressed with these tacos, I did prefer the pastor over the bistek, but both were delicious. But those SPECIAL BEANS!!! Let me tell you. I would buy those by the gallon. Sooooooo yummy.To drink, I think I got the hibiscus agua Fresca, I can't really remember but it was delicious, but a little sweet.The service was fast, and good. Nothing crazy. The restaurant is a little crowded, but only because it's busy and delicious.The prices aren't crazy, but it was a little pricey for 2 people for lunch, that's my only complaint. But you get what you pay for!

I was recommended this place by a friend and I am so happy I stopped to try it out! We each started out with a 6 count of the mini corn street tacos, they were so delicious and filling. You can customize your toppings to your liking. The store has small and large seating, making it great for all party sizes. They also have self order stations making ordering a breeze. All of this combined with the awesome decor of the store really made this a great stop for some delicious tacos!!

Food is great but the kitchen always will mess up on the order it not like the order is complicated. Very basic instructions. So double check your orders. I was told to come back by David to replace the order. I came back to have my order replaced. I Wasn't happy with Catherine or the result instead she gave me the run around about why my order cannot be replaced. Even though the kitchen mess up on it. Customer service wasn't helpful. Why hire someone to manage your front counter. When they can't even do a simple task correct

I can't believe how many times I drove by this place before trying it! My quesadillas were AMAZING! They were perfectly toasted and filled with the perfect ratio of cheese: tortilla: protein. The pastor was a little spicier than the bistek and each can with cilantro, onions and a slice of avocado. The green sauce was a little creamy and paired perfectly with the enchiladas. The service was quick and the restaurant was clean on the inside. You should check this place out!

Searched for street tacos and this place came up!!! All the food looked so good! Walked in and it's super nice and clean! Catherine told us to come to the counter, it was my first time so I wasn't sure if some of the items, she went to the back and brought me a little bisteak, pastor and the mixed steak, OMGGGGGGGG all the meat was sooooo good and fresh!!! I ordered the street tacos with a few of each, wanted to try their charro beans and she suggested the loaded beans and none of my food disappointed!!!! Everything was soooooooooooo good!! I am now stuffed to capacity and I will definitely be back because these are some of the best street tacos I've had since I've been in Texas (2years in), check them out today!!!!!!

Stopped in to give it a try. Simple place. Simple menu. I Ordered a chicken quesadilla 8" all the way. Also and order of chips and salsa and a soft drink.Chips are made in-house it seems.. very thick and greasy.. not much flavor. The salsa was like cold tomato juice. Almost no flavor. I don't think I've ever tasted a more bland watery salsa anywhere.. I was worried.The quesadilla, by contrast, was a culinary work of art. It was served more like what I could call a chalupa or tostada. Nicely toasted tortilla with a layer of delicious unknown cheese.. shredded chicken, onion, cilantro, etc. the salsa served with the quesadilla was different and had huge flavor and kick. This item was truly unique in presentation and flavor. Something I'd come back for.So a mixed bag. I'll come back and try another menu item but skip the chips.The staff was friendly, attentive and turned around to order quickly.So 3 stars that could have been 4 had I not attempted the chips and tomato juice - uh salsa.
