T. Bento Japanese Restaurant

My husband picked up some food for me, honestly I won't be back... didn't try the sushi so I can't vouch for that, but as far as for the the hibachi it was just "meh."Steak was tough and overcooked (ordered med-rare), soggy stringy scallops, the fried rice tasted old and stale, the vegetables didn't taste fresh. Very small salad it came with. I mean I don't think you can go wrong with ginger dressing but other wise the salad tasted not the freshest either. If I am wanting hibachi I will just stick with Bonsai! They always do a good job. Better portion sizes for the same price as well. Didn't really take pictures because I took a few bites and was not into it so it just sat there. So really wouldn't be a fair picture at this point..Anyway try it for yourself if you have to but gotta say Bonsai will be the way to go moving forward for me.

Wonderful sushi place on 46. The people were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Everything was clean and the decor was subtle but beautiful. It was a great place and the choices for both drinks and food were exceptional. We had the White Peach Sake, and we also had Spider Roll and the Sex on the Beach Roll. Both were so good and the presentation was absolutely beautiful. We're definitely going back!

We were a little disappointed that this is not a traditional hibachi restaurant where they do the cooking in front of you with a knife skills show, etc. However, the food was good. We enjoyed the sushi special, which was 2 rolls and soup or salad - we tried the California roll and the spice crab meat roll (which were not very spicy). They were both fresh and tasty. We each ordered the filet mignon hibachi lunch. The ginger dressing on the salad was very good. The hibachi plate was a good lunch size portion. The filet was tender and the vegetables were nicely seasoned. We could have done without the frozen peas & carrots in the fried rice, and more egg. The yum yum sauce was a bit thin and sweet. My takeaway is that i definitely will go back - especially for the sushi lunch special.

First, let me just say that TBento is a nice addition to our area. They opened a couple of weeks ago and we finally decided to check them out. The staff are very accommodating, the restaurant, clean.We ordered a few things including a sexy girl roll, Japanese friend rice with chicken, hibachi shrimp with a side of noodles, a maki combo and Salmon lover. We also tried their Scorpion bowl which was a pretty cool drink.Food wise, their servings are generous. My hibachi shrimp had huge, perfectly cooked shrimps with mixed veggies and fried rice. The side of noodles was just noodles with what tasted like soy sauce/oyster sauce. Both of the fried rice and noodles were pretty salty. We informed our waiter and they were very apologetic and took it off our bill. The owner, herself came to offer her apologies and offered to make a fresh one or we could order something else from the menu. We decided on the Salmon Lover which was the highlight of our night. It came with salmon nigiri, salmon roll and sashimi. We all agreed that the ratio of fish to rice on the nigiri is perfect, the sashimi was very fresh.While waiting for our bill, the owner, Ms. Komang, came to check on us again. She was so kind and sweet and very open to suggestions on how they can serve their patrons better. I was curious what "T" stood for in TBento. It's Texas, by the way. Their prices are a little higher than other sushi places in town but they are still pretty new so we are cutting them some slack. Their food has good flavors after all. A little tweaking is all that is needed .We will visit again in a few weeks.

I have been to T. Bento several times now and each time the servers are very friendly and helpful. The fish, especially the salmon, tastes fresh. The majority of the rolls are on the more basic side, but everything tastes good. The hibachi comes with yum yum sauce but you can ask for ginger sauce as well. The Salted Caramel Martini is absolutely delicious!

Great food, service and amazing location. Our service checked on us and the manger brought out some free appetizers. We will definitely be back when we're in town. Best saki bombs.

I have been looking for a Japanese restaurant outside of the "city" - and I finally found it. The teriyaki sirloin box is amazing. So. Much. Food. A little of everything. Tempura, California Roll, salad, rice, steak - even a couple of Goyza. Do not miss out on this place!

Jennifer was amazing!!! So sweet and got our order right away. She does her thang w the martinis the cherry blossom was so good. Salmon and white tuna was fresh and hibachi was flavorful and delicious.
