In our quest to try a new taqueria every weekend we ran across this restaurant on Zarzamora. It is a little hole in the wall but the food tastes homemade. My spouse had enchiladas and a pork chop taco and I had three breakfast tacos. I couldn't eat them all! The music is lively, it's clean and I would go back. The 4 stars instead of 5 stars is for the service. Our waitress rarely checked on us and they were not extremely busy.

First time trying this place and let me tell you we regret it me and a few coworkers of mine. We all got a variety of different tacos and tell me why we all have upset stomachs along with feeling nauseous. Neverrr again. So we tried to call and talk to someone and we got hung up on safe to say I think they knew they gave us bad food.

Saw this from a local news story online and drove all the way from far NW Side of town to try it out! Sooooo worth it! The Eddie's special (carne guisada covered enchiladas with rice and beans) was the tastiest Mexican plate I've ever had!! The tortillas were super soft with that extra loose flour on them so you know the Tias in the back are rolling out by hand. The staff was hustling hard to make sure all guests were being taken care of and even the gentlemen helping bus tables was super friendly and super quick. The food may take a little wait, as you may have read in previous reviews but I assure you it's beyond worth it. Be patient and kind. The staff mentioned they couldn't believe how busy they've gotten since the story ran. That's a deserved blessing to them and the owners of such a great establishment with authentic Mexican food. We can't wait to return!

Went to Susana's to check out the Eddie's plate that got all the good reviews. It was definitely delicious! I ordered a large menudo to go and boy was I surprised when I sat down to my menudo breakfast. It was terrible! Super greasy! Not even a hint of delicious at all unless you like the flavor of grease. Whoever prepared this didn't bother to clean the fat off the tripe AND look at the big chunks. They didn't bother to cut it up to bite size pieces. I started to cut mine up and decided it just wasn't worth the effort. If you go steer clear of the menudo and I think you'll be fine.

This restaurant is horrible. I ordered Fideo Loco and I got chicken soup. it was nasty. A co-worker ordered menudo today and they got sick from it. Health inspectors need to be called!

Had the chorizo and eggplate which came with beans and potatoes. It was so delicious! And it was very a lot. My husband got with a pork chop. It was nice and large. It was very juicy just just melted in your mouth. It was super delicious and it came with beans, potatoes, eggs. I recommend susanas it is a great place. It's a little hole in the wall, but it's the best.

This is my husband and I favorite place for tacos and Huevos Rancheros and barbacoa. Great chorizo and papa taco along with fresh salsas and awesome Ranchero sauce. Service was excellent and the ambience is café style and cozy representation of the neighborhood. Great local restaurant.
