Sun Pie

I had the char siu pork and purple rice! The char siu was very juicy and tender. You also get lettuce to balance out the fattiness of the meat. They also included a barbecue sauce that tastes more American than Asian, but it was still good! I added it to some noodles. The purple rice was delicious! The chewiness of the purple rice was yummy, and it was not that sweet overall. The purple rice reminded me of Yomi's drink. The owner was super friendly. I highly recommend this place! I will be back to try the meat pies! The food truck is located at the back of an HEB parking lot, so you can pick up your groceries and a meal!

This yellow food truck, parked in the Guilbeau corner of the HEB parking lot, offers interesting meat and veg hand pies. I think they might be ethnically Mongolian? Just a guess. Friendly little spot with a picnic table if you want to enjoy your food right away. It's a fresh and unique offering in the sometimes tiring sea of TexMex in the area. Definitely tasty, give it a try! Only quibble: the hours weren't always posted and we tried to patronize but failed. We had success in the second try!

It's my 1st time at this food truck. Their truck is adorable and attractive. I decided to try their pie and tea. To my surprise the pie was absolutely delicious! It is full of flavor, very tasty. Their purple rice milk tea is served hot. It's a comforting tea, and it has some good health benefits, similar to those found in blueberries. I was impressed with their food quality and service. The owners are humble, sweet, and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back again. Check them out for yourself!!

If you like Asian meat pies be sure to give this food truck located in the parking lot of H‑E‑B Guilbeau a try! They are the sweetest people on the face of the earth and offer free samples if you ask. The purple rice drink was different than anything I've ever had and It was pretty good. Support a new local business and give this place a shot if you are in the area and in the mood for an Asian meat pie! Just look for the cute yellow truck.

Come out and try ! Plum tart drink is Amazing ! But the food is also great , it actually open a little later than posted and in a new location off of Bandera 10/10 !

Cutest food truck design. I got combo with bbq pork, 2 meat pies and plum drink. Meat pie and plum drink were delicious. Bbq pork had good flavor and I didn't mind the fatty pieces but would've been better with sauce to dip. It came with salad which would've been better with dressing. Owner was super nice.

Canceled our order when it was placed yesterday, waste of time and money. Don't place an order on toogoodtogo if you don't want to get your money back and wait two weeks for it. They WILL CANCEL YOUR ORDER.

I had 2 meat pies and a purple rice milk drink. It was amazing!! Definitely a 10/10!! The owners are super friendly and welcoming as well! I will be coming back again!

Service was great. The food was so good! It was our first time going and we were glad we did. We want to go again but our timing hasn't been right for when they are open.
