Sumo Japanese Steakhouse Restaurants

When we attended you had to reserve online in advance to be able to dine. Note that it was fairly stuffy in there even with their fans so I recommend bringing a handheld for your kiddos. I throughly enjoyed the shrimp & chicken fried rice. Our server was great and so was the chef. Be prepared to drink lol. There was a nice photo op in the front of the restaurant under the Torii gate too!

There was one particular thing that stood out about this restaurant; the prices. OMG..the menu prices are absolutely ridiculous!! You'd think you were at some high end, fancy restaurant. Not worth it!The food was decent, just not worth the price. The best part about this place was the service. The hibachi guy was extremely entertaining. Really enjoyed his performance.Needless to say, I will not be returning unless the prices here are lowered.

Our table service was great; very chill vibe. The table wasn't full, so we got lucky with extra everything; Extra rice, shrimps, meat and vegetables! Loved this place. We will definitely be back.

This place is so nice that we had to come back! This was also the first time that I actually had to use the bathroom, & to my pleasure, it was immaculate and fresh! Bravo!!The gentleman who did the cooking was phenomenal; he put on a great show and produced delicious food! I had a wonderful experience!Thank You Sumo!!

This place was Amazing!! First time visiting and enjoyed it. The food was Amazing, and our chef was very friendly and had skills. The restaurant's atmosphere was casual and inviting. I will be back sooner than later!!

By far the absolute best hibachi experience I have ever had. My steak was perfect and ranks in my top 5 best steaks I have ever eaten. The service was superior, the show was top notch and the food was beyond expectations. I had my 14-year-old with me for his first experience at a hibachi and the chef went way out of his way to tailor the experience for my son. Thank you for making it a great evening.

My son chose this restaurant to celebrate he and his auntie's birthday together. We walked into the restaurant and heard the sound of fans blowing and once we were seated we realized fans were placed all around the restaurant. We weren't concerned at first but it was annoying and it really didn't keep the restaurant cool. The server was okay and the chef seemed tired. He started cooking and the smoke began blowing towards some of us one the side of the table the entire time he was cooking and my wife was not pleased. Something had to be wrong with the ventilation because it wasn't going out through it. The food was ok and I'm still trying to figure out how you go to a Japanese steakhouse and pay all that money for a little pieces of a strip of chicken etc for all that money! They need to start giving more meat for the price because they are overcharging for the amount of meat they give on your plate. I could add more but at least the restroom was clean, but the restaurant and those fans and smoke due to bad ventilation was horrible! They need to get it together especially the amount of meat for those prices and all those fans! I will not be back at all!

I've been to other hibachi grill restaurants in California and in New Hampshire. They were great. Here, not good. I didn't taste any garlic in the fried rice, the ginger dressing had no taste of ginger at all. The sauces for the meat and vegetables were basically mayonnaise and a vinegar ginger sauce. The steak was fatty and chewy. Everything was really salty. The prices are too high here. I gave it two stars because the chef was nice. If you've been to other hibachi places you might rethink coming here, it's disappointing. If this is your first time and wanting a hibachi meal cooked in front of you, you'll probably be happy.

First time having hibachi cook/meal. We went to celebrate a birthday. it was fun! Aaron was AWESOME! very funny and skilled. he definitely made dinner an exciting, social event. You should check him out on the sumo commercial. The food was amazing. it tasted so good. Aaron definitely has best chef in my book. i would absolutely go back for the food and atmosphere. I will recommend Sumo and Aaron to others.
