Sukie's Taco House

Two breakfast tacos and a coffee for $10.99? Never again. The tacos were nothing to barite home about and the coffee tasted more like water than coffee. Then the insult of having to pay $11 for it did it for me. Oh well I could have walked. But buyer beware. Mediocre food for high prices. There are other tacquieras close by which give you a better value.

After driving by this place too many times, decided to finally give them a shot. I'm now mad at myself for not going sooner. Got just two tacos, a carne guisada and a bean and cheese. I'm a mean critic of taco places and don't leave reviews of places that are meh, but trust me, this place has it going on. The carne guisada had a proper amount of red chile in it, few places do. Proper beans made with lard I could tell. Every bite of every taco was not just good but amazing. The fresh flour tortillas were outstanding. From just two tacos I guarantee I'm gonna be a regular now, cannot recommend this place enough.

This was a wonderful experience; awesome hole in the wall. If your from San Antonio and over 40yrs old, you'll feel like your eating at grandmas house. Enchiladas are delicious , and the beans are the reason I returned!

This is one of my top 3 eateries in San Antonio.The service is wonderful! I'm sure there are so many patrons they cannot know them all, but it feels that they do know you. The food is always hot, fresh and just as ordered. If I could give more stars I would.Even if your just picking something to go, they still take the time to make you feel like a valued customer.5 stars all around!

Literally can't get over how friendly and amazing the waitresses are every time we come. I love the chorizo at this taco house, its perfection. I love love love their tortillas!

Been driving by this place for years. Finally decided to try it and have been about 5 times now. Good homemade tortillas and good tacos. The employees are very friendly. This last time I decided to try something different on their long taco list. The Carne Con Chile taco was FANTASTIC. It is a solid ten. This taco alone will keep me coming back. They must know what they have because the cashier asked me specifically how I liked that taco and I told her what I wrote here. It was fantastic. The meat was tender and had a great flavor. It's a lighter gravy/sauce and made with some type of chile that gave it some heat. Absolutely fantastic taco!

I love the warm welcome and the service! The food is authentic and delicious. I enjoyed my breakfast so much that I ate it down too fast to take a picture.
