Food. Service. Ambiance. Sukhumvit has it all. First time visitor coming with a friend who has been here.Lunch specials a plenty to choose from, and it looks like a rather nice dinner and appetizer menu. I had the Traditional Green Curry, Level 3 spice. Can't feel my lips. Friend had Pad Woon Sen... a delightful looking noodle and vegetable dish. Go. I do not think you will be disappointed.

We had a reservation for 8 on a Thursday and were seated promptly. The place is nice, clean and the staff friendly. The appetizers were good, although the appetizers left a little something to be desired. We had the edamame (needed salt) and the crab Rangoon rolls were tiny. Four people ordered Thai tea and the first three that came out were great, the fourth was not mixed correctly and had way to much "tea" so it was very bitter. Overall though this is one of the best Thai restaurants I've been to in the area, the staff is amazing, the prices great, portions good and quality ingredients and flavors.

It was our second time dining here last night and it remains our favorite Thai restaurant. We love that it's nearby for us too! The restaurant is clean, spacious and modern. The menu is large and extensive, service is great and parking is plentiful. I highly recommend the garlic pork ribs, and the usuals like basil fried rice, pad Thai and curries. We got the tiger cry steak last night for the first time and it was delicious especially with the tiger cry sauce. For dessert, I strongly recommend their coconut ice cream! They make it in house and you can definitely tell it's homemade. It's so yummy!FYI- their spice level is 1-5. We ordered a 3 for their dishes, and even a 3 was spicy for us! (And we like spicy foods). So this is a note for me to order level 2 for future dishes. Lol. Everything we've ordered the two visits we've been there are so delicious I'd order them again. But with just the two of us, we're limited to ordering a few dishes. But that's okay, because we'll always have something new to try for next time!

Stopped in for some appetizers with friends this afternoon. Only updating food portion of review. All else stays the same as my prior review. Had the fresh spring rolls and the shu mai. (1) Fresh spring rolls are not very good. Very hard to eat with giant pieces of lettuce sticking out the top and flavors were mediocre. (2) Shu mai was just "so so" and was lacking.

This Tai restaurant is a hidden gem in Universal City. The food and service is amazing. We walked in at 8 pm and the restaurant and bathroom were sparkling clean. When we walked in we were immediately greeted and seated. I have not experienced this kind of welcoming when you walk into a restaurant that is near closing time. The owner is very outgoing and fun to talk to. I ordered the green curry in mild, I am glad I did because it had a kick to it. The vegetables and mushrooms were fresh and cooked to perfection. I added the combination: chicken, beef and shrimp for a little extra charge. My husband had the pad tai noodle. His was very tasty as well. We will definitely be back. I can't wait for you to try the food and share your experience.

The first time I heard of @sukhumvit77satx is from my friend @mamahofmann64. One of her favorite servers now works there. We thought to check it out for Saturday dinner.Dad had Lemonade, and Hubby and I both had Iced Tea. They don't have their liquor license and Live Oak doesn't allow BYOB. We started with the Thai Rice Soup. We had the Crab Fried Rice, Red Curry with shrimp (medium heat), and Pad Thai with chicken. Great flavors and generous protein portions. So good! Pui was our server, who took good care of us. I couldn't stop eating the rice with the red curry sauce. We had leftovers to enjoy another meal.

Ah, dear fellow food adventurers, let me regale you with the tale of my recent voyage to Sukhumvit 77, the latest gem to grace our culinary landscape. Nestled quaintly in Live Oak, this Thai haven promises an experience that's equal parts elegance and approachability. As I stepped through the doors, I was enveloped in an ambiance that whispered of far-off lands, elevated cuisine, and exotic spices. Yet, there was no hint of pretension, just a warm invitation to indulge in the beautiful flavors of Thailand. Now, let me paint a picture of the feast that awaited me. Picture this: tender slices of beef in the Paht Woon Sen dish, each bite a symphony of flavors that sang praises to the high-quality ingredients lovingly used. No mere boiling meat here, my friends, but a celebration of beef in its purest, most delicious form.As for the Tofu Paht Thai, it was a spicy revelation, striking the perfect balance between heat and harmony. Not too sweet, not too savory, just an exquisite dance of flavors on my palate. The fried rice was packed to the brim with umami goodness, it was a testament to the culinary prowess of the kitchen. The spring rolls were hot and fresh, with a nice crunch to them that avoided the dreaded sogginess of lesser establishments. And then there were the crab cheese rolls, a delightful symphony of flavors. Each bite revealed the creamy richness of the cream cheese, the freshness of the onions, and the delicate essence of crab. But let's not forget the Iced Thai Tea, a refreshing elixir that cooled my senses on a sweltering 90 degree Monday evening, transporting my wife and I to the bustling streets of Bangkok with each sip.In conclusion, dear food aficionados, Sukhumvit 77 is more than just a restaurant--it's an experience. A journey through the vibrant tapestry of Thai cuisine, where every dish tells a story and every bite leaves you craving for more. And to top it all off, the owner's personal touch, stopping by our table to say hi and engage in a delightful conversation, added an extra layer of warmth to an already exceptional evening. So, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to this culinary oasis. Your taste buds will thank you, and your soul will rejoice in the flavors of Thailand.
