My friend, Belinda, and I scheduled to meet up for dinner this week at Stone Werks Lincoln Heights location to catch up before we attend the R.O.A.R. Networking group at the same place. We each ended up ordering a Sangria-rita - mine was on the rocks while Belinda's was frozen, a happy hour special. We decided to share 2 of the items: Rustic Flatbread and the Chilean Sea Bass. So much food to enjoy and a great convo to boot. We both had leftovers to take home. I believe happy hour ends at 6pm so get there early. When we joined the R.O.A.R. Networking group, Janie ordered the Shrimp Avocado Salad which looked amazing! She thoroughly enjoyed it!

We visited Stone Werks at Lincoln Heights for the first time and had a great experience. Malachi, our waiter, gave us a warm welcome and was incredibly attentive; he was truly the highlight of our visit! We enjoyed a glass of wine and a draft beer, both served perfectly chilled. The turkey chili was hot and delicious, perfect for a cold day. The cheeseburger was served on a homemade bun with a generously sized patty. We'll definitely be back!

I haven't been in years our waiter was so great he is also a fellow teacher which I love as far as the food the meatballs are amazing and the turkey avocado sandwich is amazing but the fried chicken sandwich wasn't that great I would say 7 out of 10 it was to greasy and the fires could of stayed in the fryer a little bit longer but service was great and the restaurant is very nice and clean

Stopped in so my nephew could watch some March Madness and this place was the perfect spot. There were about 8 tv screens within our line of sight which was great for sports watching. I had fried calamari and guacamole and chips. Both were fantastic. My nephew had a watermelon margarita and Louisiana charred oysters which he said was "FIE" (in the urban dictionary this would be spelled "fire" also meaning they were a hit" ). The food, service, and drinks were great which made it great for catching a game or two.

Came in for a work lunch during the work week. The place was fairly empty when our group arrived. The staff got to us quickly and brought our drinks and appetizers, which ranged a bunch of different items. I ordered the Bacon Gouda Burger with Sweet Potato fries. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Burger was juicy and fries were good. Appetizers we had were chips and queso, spinich dip, and brusselsprouts. All were good but the spinich dip had some sort or spicy/zing to it and didnt really fit. Besides that, pretty good lunch spot!

We love the bar and the great servers at the bar. The beer selection is one of the best in the city. This is my best chance to have a Fat Tire or two. And of course lots of sports on the numerous TVs. We only go there when there is a game or three happening. Oh and we love the oysters and the flatbreads. Done.

I needed to pick something up at H-E-B, also at Lincoln Heights, and I was trying to decide where to go for dinner after that. Stone Werks was in the same plaza albeit tucked in the very corner of the plaza. The plaza is kind of large, and the way it's set up, it would have been a pretty long walk back to my rental car from the restaurant. As a result, I decided to drive over to the front of the restaurant where I pulled into a spot right in front of the front door! Perhaps a sign of good things to come? After I stepped inside, I saw Ally finish serving a customer at the front desk, and she greeted me with a smile. I asked for a takeout menu, and she handed me one for me to peruse. I sat at a comfortable bench nearby to study the menu.Pizza, seafood, steak, pasta...so many choices! What to get?!The previous night, I had a pretty fancy ribeye steak from a high-end steakhouse, so I definitely wasn't getting a ribeye again. But maybe the Rotisserie Prime Rib would do the trick?!There was a caveat, however, if you choose the Prime Rib. It's only served Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays after 5 PM. It was actually 7 PM on a Thursday, so I figured why not make the most of it and go with the Prime Rib?! I also decided to get some Roasted Salsa & Chips, thinking they could be a good supplement to the Prime Rib.I returned to the front desk, but nobody was there. Another employee, possibly a manager, came to take my order. I asked her how long the wait would be, and she estimated 15 minutes. The receipt said Ally's name, so I thought her name was Ally, but I later found out Ally was actuALLY (see what I did there?) the hostess who first greeted me. Don't you love it when the server's name is different than the one who actually rang you up? lolAlly was a pretty good hostess from what I saw, and I can attest to her professional demeanor whether it was welcoming a first-timer like yours truly with a smile or hugging a regular customer that she's known for a while. It's a pretty good spot to hang out after a long day of work and watch some sports over a nice meal and maybe a glass of wine. After about 16 minutes, she noticed I was still sitting on the bench and took the initiative to check on my order. A couple minutes later, she handed me my takeout bag and wished me a good day. I was quite impressed with how she conducted herself during my short stay that I actually forgot to pick up a mint at the front desk. Oops? lolMy takeout bag consisted of two paper bags and a large takeout box. The takeout box consisted of the prime rib with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. The vegetables didn't have much flavor, and the mashed potatoes didn't even come with gravy. However, the prime rib was pretty good. Not as good as the ribeye I had the previous night, but since my hotel was a little far, I'm willing to cut some slack here. However, some gravy would have been nice, and I'm not actually sure what made the prime rib rotisserie? Didn't really stand out, but it was still a good cut of beef! For the Roasted Salsa and Chips, I think they actually gave me Queso and Chips instead because I was expecting a tomato salsa of the likes of Chipotle, but what I got was a creamy queso dip. Either that was a mistake made unintentionally or they ran out of salsa and upgraded to queso at no additional charge. Whatever the reason, I'm glad I got to try their queso, even though it did leave me feeling pretty full after eating all that. They gave me a really generous amount of queso, much more than what Chipotle would have given. It was also good, but didn't have the strong flavor that I desire from anything with queso in it.While it wasn't the best meal I've had in San Antonio, I was satisfied with my Prime Rib meal with Queso & Chips. I would certainly recommend Stone Werks to all who live in San Antonio. Also, keep up the great work Ally! :)

I've noticed after the Sci-fi movie we just came out of ..most places quality has gone down. Not Stone werks. They were clearly short staffed tonight and yet the bartender was able to get to us fairly quickly for having such a big section.I had been craving a frozen jack and coke and they did me one better...a frozen Cherry jack and coke....yums! I don't know why this drink has become so elusive, but thanks for bringing the frozen jack back.I went with a Rustic flatbread with all the different cheeses, prosciutto ,arugula and vinaigrette was so so good. It was a bit heavy on arugula but after taking some off it was superb. My friend went with the kobe beef burger. I tried a bite and now I'm never going back to regular ground beef. The environment was beautiful. The bar is lit with red-light from below and a softer orange light above. It gave a chill and romantic vibe that I dig. The decor very simple and modern. None of the other locations quite have the energy of this spot with a unique twist. I noticed a patio and an upstairs area that looks great for private parties. Great werk Stone werks!

We were there for a large group from the church. I ordered the chicken fried steak with Vega and mashed potatoes. No gravy for the mashed potatoes and very skimpy serving of gravy for the meat. The chicken fried steak was tough and over cooked. Desert was wonderful.
