Been to the Stone Oak one for drinks. Decided to come for food first time. It was a delight surprise and everyone enjoyed their food! BLT sandwich was a great hit and decent size. Nashville chicken was amazing though messy so don't eat on first date. The slaw falls thru and drips everywhere. However, fries were delicious! They have great selection of tap beers and drinks. Server was attentive and nice. Place is clean with adequate seating. Also has outdoor seating. We'll be back for great food!

I have been to several locations and I would say that this one is my favorite. I love the cabin feel of the restaurant, so much available seating, service was good and the food was good too. I ordered the meatballs and my husband got a chicken salad, both were delicious.

We enjoyed our meals but weren't overly impressed with anything we had. The ambiance is nice and the bar has a good selection. The service was always pretty good, even on busy nights.

Nice atmosphere, just don't think our meal was worth $78. The spinach and artichoke tasted like it was freezer burned, the mashed potatoes were fairly close to room temperature, the steak was very over done (ordered medium and there was little to no pink) and we did not have staff come by to bring us a refill. It's a shame, this restaurant is just downstairs from us and I don't think I will be returning.

My parents and I often visit Stone Werks for lunch, but usually we go to a different location. I was impressed when visiting The Rim location as it was nicer than the other location and seemed to be more up to date. The inside reminded me of a lodge in Colorado and was cozy feeling. When we arrived on Sunday around 1PM, it wasn't crowded at all and we were seated almost immediately. Unfortunately, our server took a very long time to do anything... come say hello... take a drink order, etc. Sometimes it would be so long for us to find him / get him to come back that I would walk to the kitchen area myself to ask for items (ranch, ketchup, etc.). While he was nice, it was frustrating. When there, we ordered the following: - 1 Spicy Bloody Mary (my mom)- 1 Bloody Mary with no spice (mine)- 1 Yuengling Beer - Fried Pickles: Just a light amount of batter on them with a good amount of seasoning. Very tasty and served with a chipotle ranch. - Turkey & Avocado Sandwich: The bread was perfectly toasted and this had a good amount of both turkey and avocado on it. I would absolutely order this again! - Big Rock Fried Chicken w/ Potatoes & Green Beans: Not too crispy and served with a white gravy. The breading was flaky and delicious. - Salmon Caaser Salad: Cooked correctly and served with a reasonable amount of dressing. Overall, the food and ambiance were great - just need a bit of improvement in the service department!

Stopped in with no reservation to this place at The Rim here in San Antonio with a couple of friends about 1 pm on a Sunday. No line and we were seated immediately. Abby was our waitress and she was the best! Good professionalism and great personality. Wonderful sense of humor and very attentive. The restaurant had their fireplaces going because of the outside temperature being about freezing and it made the place very cozy. I had the Kobe beef meatloaf which was awesome and my wife had the shrimp Alfredo which she really enjoyed. Portions were so large that we both took some home. My friends also said their food was excellent. Price was at about the $$$ level but well worth the cost. We will be going back soon!

So this review is about the restaurant area..we recently went to have dinner there... the service was great the waiter prompt ... the food was a big disappointment...I noticed that the tables in the restaurant area are looking old and a bit shabby...we all had different item.. burger, pizza , chicken, spaghetti, salad... kids Mac n cheese... none of it was great.. the pork chops were dry... the chicken was dry... the Mac n cheese was runny and tasteless.. the pizza was good... the shrimp Cocktail was lacking too( and that is my favorite)the drinks from the bar were done incorrectly... did we complain no... will we go back maybe... but it won't be in the restaurant area... it is more of a early lunch spot or hangout at the bar or outside on a nice day.. I'm very very disappointed here... fun for drinks yup... patio fun yup... restaurant umm don't expect a lot ...sorry :-/

Great food! Great place to meet and eat! The server charged me for an 8 ounce glass of wine, but I only had a 5 ounce. I didn't notice the error until I studied the receipt once I was home. I returned to the restaurant and spoke with the General Manager, Priscilla L. She assured me she would issue a credit to my charge card. Almost a month later, I have not received credit. It's a small amount, I know, but it's simply not right.
