We met some friends here for an early Sunday night dinner after nearly a 20 year gap in seeing each other. Although we had reservations, it wasn't necessary as there were tables available, and the restaurant was about half full. Ordering the calamari for starters, was just the right way to get our night started. The appetizer was described as having a "fish stick" shape, but when it arrived, we had the feeling this is not an ordinary calamari dish. It glistened with some sort of glaze, and the taste was beyond delightful. I had the honey salmon which also had a similar glaze as the calamari. I've ordered plenty of salmon, prepared many different ways, but this one tops the chart for me. Perfecto! Wifey, had the wrapped shrimp which was delicious as well. Our friends had a pasta, and the seafood flight with lobster/seafood. From their feedback, a big thumbs up on the experience. The atmosphere is classy and upscale and would be a nice place for celebrating a special occasion, or for a romantic evening out. Our server was very friendly and kept our drinks filled without hesitation. We were able to spend several hours catching up without interruptions, or pressure to leave. Of course, if it was packed, we would have left sooner. Before the end of the night, I regretfully passed on the desert menu, but will try one on the next visit as we plan on coming back again.

Yesterday, we decided to try something new and went to @stoneterracegastropub for brunch. The reviews I read were mostly from their dinners but the brunch menu looked good so we wanted to check it out. The weather was perfect so we sat on the patio.Fair warning, their food portions are Texas-sized! Dad and I shared the French Flight, which was 3 different French Toasts: Classic French Toast, Strawberry Cream Stuffed French Toast, and Nutella Cheesecake Stuffed French Toast. Even though we shared, we still had leftovers to bring home! Hubby had the Waffle Flight, which 3 different waffles: 1/2 Classic Belgian Waffle, 1/2 order of Chicken N Waffle, and 1/2 Bacon Belgium Waffle. We ordered a Garden Salad with Lime Vinegarette dressing to share. I only had a few bites since there was so much food. Enjoyed it for dinner tonight. The dressing is fantastic.Great food and service so I would highly recommend a stop here. Next would be to stop in for dinner sometime.

This location has seen many restaurants come and go. Stone Terrace Gastropub may be the one to actually make it. From food to service, everything was great. The hardest part was deciding what to eat. A very diverse menu with some to please everyone. Shout out to Riley and Liv for taking care of our food and cocktail needs. The chef and manager are in the dining room from time to time to make sure everything is great. We started with the charred Caesar salad. We had this at another local restaurant that has come and gone. It was very good. I had the mini beef wellington for my entree. The beef was cooked medium rare and very tender. The pastry was excellent and the mushroom gravy was a nice pairing. Mashed potatoes were creamy and the charred brussel sprouts were very good. My wife had the bacon wrapped shrimp and truffle fries. Jumbo shrimp perfectly cooked surrounded by tasty bacon. The truffle fries are cut a different way than I have seen before. Nicely crispy on the edges and tender inside. After dinner we moved to the bar to watch Liv and Cass work as the evening rush progressed. My wife had an espresso martini that she deemed very good.

Decided to give this highly reviewed near by restaurant a try on a Thursday. Difficult to spot driving at night as there is no clear sign for it. Walking up to it we see a nicely lit outdoor seating area that was empty and surrounded by windows giving a clear look inside. Seemed rather empty for dinner time on Thursday but there were a few people there. We walk in and are asked if we had any reservations. We said no and asked if it was necessary. The hostess made it almost seem like it was inconvenient. Rather silly considering the place was really empty. We sit down and immediately notice something off about the ambiance. Something is lacking. It's very white and stale, cold even. The furniture is nice but needed something more inviting like some table candles or plants or something. The cutlery is black and so you can see all the stains and scratches on it, so while on theme for their colors, functionally not as attractive. We could barely hear any music and mostly heard other people talking much like a cafeteria. Decor and uplighting are really lacking. The bar area looks really nice but is lost without better lighting. I understand this is all nitpicking and people want the review of the food. I only say these things because I hope owners get good feedback to see what they can improve on. The food unfortunately never made it past a 5/10. The best thing we ate was the bruschetta appetizer. It was the most flavorful, however the tomatoes were pretty cold as was the bread. My pasta was pretty plain, just a basic tomato sauce pasta. No veggies, no chopped herbs....just tomato pasta with two cold slices of plain bread on the side. I took some parsley from our appetizer and it went a long way to up the flavor of it and kept asking for extra Parmesan to cut through the acidity. Husband's salmon was very strong on the lemon and the garlic mashed potatoes were cold and extremely under-seasoned that you couldn't even taste any garlic. The meals were just so underwhelming regardless of the price tag that we decided not to go for dessert and left feeling a bit hungry. It had already taken over half an hour for us to get our food on a slow dinner night. I really hoped this would work out but the experience was uninviting, cold both in ambiance and in food that I do not think I will be coming back.

This place is such a hidden gem! Just had lunch there and it was fabulous! Had the chipotle honey mustard chicken ciabatta sandwich, suggested by our waiter and he was right, it's the bomb! The French fries can be truffled but are great without!!You can sit inside or outside on the patio. They have a great wine list and full bar! I hear the brunch is killer, can't wait to try!

We visited Stone Terrace on a whim, leaving us incredibly full and satisfied. Pros:- Easily available reservations- Friendly and attentive staff, including chefs and the owner, who checked on us during our meal- Diverse and creative drink menu catering to various tastes- Options for both outdoor covered seating and a pleasant indoor environment- Varied meal choices ranging from French to Italian even the UK, all of which were well balanced and delicious - Enjoyable music selection of 90s hits, adding to the lively atmosphere- Generous platters offering a substantial amount of delicious food, perfect for sharing between a coupleCons:- Slightly secluded location off the main path- The only minor critique would be slight variations in the cooking level of calamari due to size, though still enjoyable with the accompanying specialty sauceStone Terrace will be my go-to spot. I plan to frequent this amazing restaurant, especially for special occasions when I need to unwind with friends and family.

Husband and I made a reservation to spend his birthday on the patio. This was our first time here and we were very excited for the experience. The first thing we noticed was a restaurant is very bright and clean. Are reservation was on the patio to enjoy tue warm evening. The seating had plenty of space between table to allow for conversation and movement. We tried a couple drinks and menu options to get the feel for the restaurant. All the food was really well made and tasted great. It was a really nice evening. Favorites were the crab cake, lobster bisque, and the bacon wrapped shrimp. The flights btw are sharable!

It's wonderful to have a first class restaurant in the Stone Oak area. It's located in a former steakhouse/venue event building, but the remodeling is quite modern and "clean." The menu is quite unique, with a European flair. The crab cakes were full of crab, vs. filler and made us want to have more. I had the chicken breast/ravioli which made every bite a delight. The breast was grilled over a flame, moist and tender. The ravioli were full of flavor and complimented the chicken. Be aware it's wonderfully rich! My wife's shrimp were amazing, succulent and HUGE. our waiter Ruben took great care of us. There is a nice patio to catch the sunsets. A great place to have a wonderful night out.

First time for Restaurant Week, and was impressed with the menu choices and portions. Our server Katie was new and very polite and courteous. Everyone else ordered various dinner flights which all looked and tasted delicious. Nice drink menu choices and comfortable decor. We will be coming back. It was cold inside, but warmed up after we asked them to turn on heat.

This is a new restaurant, only been open three months -. I definitely recommend- the food is amazing and fresh. There is indoor seating and outdoor patio. Full bar with also great wine selections. Give this place a try ! Our service Dillion was great and friendly. One of the chefs "whiz" came out and checked if the food was good - which that was nice to see -
