Southtown 101

I recently stopped by Southtown 101 and was impressed by their burgers! The Saint Mary's Swiss Burger was definitely my favorite - it was packed with flavor. The patty was juicy, and the Swiss cheese and mushrooms added a nice touch.The fries were good, but not particularly memorable. They were thin and crispy, but didn't blow me away. One thing to note is that they do charge extra for ranch dressing, which is understandable, but not something I'm used to.The atmosphere inside is quite dark, which gives it more of a bar vibe than a traditional restaurant. However, they do offer outdoor seating, which is a nice option if you're looking for a bit of natural light.Overall, I'd definitely recommend Southtown 101 for their delicious burgers, and I'll be back to try more of their menu!

Love Southtown 101!!!Food and drink prices are very reasonable, especially for being so close to downtown.The staff is also personable, especially during earlier hours when it's not too busy.The vibe is local, but without being too divey and the facility is well maintained. Plenty of indoor and outdoor options for seating and there's rotating entertainment throughout the week/weekend.There's several TV's and a projector, but I haven't been here for a games yet.

Do not use a credit card to start a tab bartenders do not accurately keep track of what you've had to drink. When you go to get your tablet in the night you get excessive drink charges.

It was the last day of Burger Week, so we checked the SA Current for recommendations. This dive bar has a food counter on the side, and there are burgers from basic to fancy (fried egg? avocado? peanut butter?) We went basic this time. It was nice and juicy.

Dope spot on the Southside to kick it with friends out on the patio or inside. They have a large dance area, plenty of tables, and possibly the best food any bar is putting out in the city! I have come to love their wings, all sauces, and their Steak Dinner! Also really enjoyed their Fried Pickles this last time. Prices are great and portions are large, score! Thought Thinkers and Drinkers was doing trivia here tonight, but, it turned out their do210 post hadn't been updated. We loved the vibe, the diversity of patrons and the tunes. Bartender and grill folks were cool. Had the peanut butter burger arhat can highly recommended. It was cooked well but a bit more plain than I expected. Definitely a decent burger overall. Overall, loved it and will be back

I visited this bar for the first time recently. The music was too loud. The waitstaff/bartenders were ok, not very friendly. We ordered food and the chicken buffalo sandwich was very good as well as their french fries. I will likely not return. I did not get a good vibe, the drinks were meh, plus they overcharged gratuity on my friend's tab. If you go, close out every time you order or pay with cash.

Laid back bar with a full kitchen. The food l tried was fries and chicken strips, which are great when you're having a drink. The bartenders are all friendly and attentive. They have a podcast set up for rent and there's karaoke on Tuesdays. It seems like they have a lot of events they host. There's plenty of seating at the bar, inside, and picnic tables outside on the patio. Inside also has a large projector screen for when games are on.

This is the first time coming to Southtown 101 and I will definitely be back. Great service and chill atmosphere for a happy hour with your friends. The food was delicious and made fresh.
