Southern Maid Donuts

After months of passing by with intentions of stopping in, we finally got a chance to stop in and we were not disappointed. Where to start? The staff is wonderfully welcoming, a huge plus in my book. Next came the food, a big sweet cinnamon roll (but not too sweet), and a great large fresh Drip. And cheese kolache, plus an excellent fresh drip and a soda, for $12. We then sat in the corner on a comfy couch and enjoyed so relaxing. time in their nicely appointed dining area. So if you live or travel up 306 to the lake, definitely stop in and support this fun little bistro.

Tried the jalapeno kolaches a couple weeks ago and they were not very good. The sausage tasted like a hotdog basically and the dough was lacking in flavor. The donut holes were just okay as well. My husband picked up our order and said the staff was very friendly and the service was good. He also said it looked a like a quaint coffee place.

The hubs and I drove thru the drive in for coffee and apple fritters. OMGoodness! The coffee was great and the fritters were amazing!!! We can't wait to go back!

If you are looking for a peaceful place to have a morning with a cup of coffee and treat, then this is the place. The workers are very nice and helpful. They greeted everyone with cheer and were grateful for you to just come in..

The food here was delicious, the environment was great and we had a great time with the extremely friendly staff Drew and Dax. Thanks to those two for making sure that we come back here next time we're in town!

The service is exceptional! The donuts are some of my favorite and I absolutely love the maple bacon donuts. The kolaches are made in house with smoked sausage from the local meat market in town. The vibe is great and it is a very warm and family friendly atmosphere! I also recommend the coffee. I had the regular coffee and my wife had the Carmel macchiato! They also have macarons. Both were delicious! I highly recommend this place if you are close by. Just a quick tip when coming, make sure to turn into the river chase neighborhood entrance because there is no entrance off of FM 306. I hope you enjoy!

Stopped by on a Saturday morning, Do-Nuts tasted day old, stale, and runny. Staff was very friendly.

Fresh donuts in a laid back environment. Friendly staff that seemed to really be happy to be there.

Nice inside atmosphere Very good coffee/cappucino and Kolaches. Chris is welcoming and personable. Just discovered this little gem Tuesday and we've been everyday!
