I love this restaurant!I think this restaurant is the place we repeatedly go the most in San Antonio. Price is reasonable and the taste is very good! I recommend it!

I found this neighborhood landmark during a six-week stint at Fort Sam Houston for an Army Course. Located in an unassuming corner of a small strip mall, it doesn't stand out much from the street; however, once you walk inside the ambiance hits you like wave. The interior is dimly lit, with tables situated about and there is a full bar toward the back. I sat down at the bar and looked over the menu, which features a wide array of classic Italian fare such as salads, soups, pasta, seafood, chicken, and veal! After carefully scanning the many enticing options, I chose a salad and the Dentice Alla Sorrento - broiled red snapper in an olive/caper tomato sauce over spaghetti! The bartender brought out complementary bread, which was deliciously baked and served with butter. The side salad was a blend of mixed greens, onions, and olives basted in a nice vinaigrette! My entree arrived within 20 minutes, and it was generously portioned! The fish was delectable, broiled to perfection, and paired very nicely with the spaghetti and red sauce. The sauce was balanced and not too salty. I finished every bit of my food and was thoroughly satisfied. In my humble opinion, Sorrento's is the best Italian restaurant in San Antonio.

Nice family owned hidden gem on Broadway. Great lunch specials that change daily. We had the lobster ravioli and a salad with freshly baked Focaccia bread and it was delicious! The bread itself is worth the visit and the salad has field greens with their house dressing. Very cozy environment and they have a small patio for outdoor dining. Lots of parking as well. Staff moves quickly.

Visited San Antonio to watch my friends crush the half and full marathon and they needed to carb up the night before. I was ready to take on Stromboli and it was absolutely delicious. I would come back just for that delightful package dipped in marinara. We placed an order online and it was ready promptly. Can't speak much for the ambiance of the place since I didn't go pick it up but when I go back I must check it out. The Stromboli was so big I could only eat half and I tragically left the other half in the airbnb when we left . I was thinking about that other half for days.

To supplement my income I am apersonal shopper and do food delivery. Had an order at this place during the dinner rush so my wait was about 25 minutes. The staff was amazing - offering me water and bread. Some restaurants say we cannot use the restroom and treat us like garbage. Not this place. So impressed. Traditional Italian and OMG - the aroma that came out of their kitchen was to die for! Come and eat here!

Little Italian place that serves home made old fashioned dishes. We tried the fried ravioli (everyone liked it), the fried cheese sticks (avoid these), pizza was amazing with tons of toppings, shrimp dishes, chicken Parmesan, lasagna, minestrone soup (came in huge bowl), salads, and other chicken dishes. We had great, fast service, quick drink refills. We came here for a college graduation meal and it was great. The food was photo worthy and very tasty. Would def recommend!

We came for lunch and it was very warm in there, which was just slightly uncomfortable. The AC was either not working or not turned high enough. Our server was nice and friendly, but you did not see her at all unless she was taking your order or bringing your food. It took her a while to come back to ask for our checks. To be fair though, it looked like she was the only server for about 6-7 tables. Fresh breadWarm and soft in the middle with a thin crunchy crust. Pollo parmigiana (chicken parm) 8/10This is just the chicken, breaded and covered in mozzarella and sauce. And you get a side of noodles which you can choose to have butter or red sauce on them. I chose the red sauce so I can eat them with the chicken. The chicken was cooked perfectly fine. The breading was actually a little soggy, not crispy and was just falling right off of the chicken on the bottom half. Mozzarella was a good amount. Sauce was robust red, good, but I do prefer a little sweeter of a sauce. I've got to say, this is the only place in the area that the food is priced very well. You get a ton of food for the amount of the dish.

Enjoy the pepperoni rolls here as it usually fills me up and tastes great. Have a good selection of beer and casual atmosphere For family dinning. The eggplant parmigiana is the favorite here.
