SoHill Cafe

We are typically in this area but never really when they are open so we finally decided to go for dinner the other night and it was a great experience! Service is quick and staff is friendly, personable, and knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered a cheeseburger burger medium well but was pretty pink inside - luckily we aren't too picky and was still was yummy! We also ordered a marg pizza and the flavors were great. We threw a little salt on it and some red chili flakes & I'd say it was one of the better pizzas we've had in SA! Also, had to get an order of mozz sticks which were perfectly cooked and had a great cheese pull!! Prices were very reasonable. I think we spent maybe $34 without tip and we will definitely be back.Probably the only con here was that it was very smoky inside. My bfs eyes were burning and the waitress gave us some water and said it's bad ventilation in there. She apologized, nothing she could do really so just be aware if you are not good in those environments.

Planned a dinner with family. When we got their, we discovered the menu was totally changed... all the pasta dishes are gone and now pizza and burger mainly. We were disappointed.Then the kitchen cooking oil was either end of life or too hot. The place was smoky and filled with a burnt oil smell. We had our drink and appetizer, and then we left.

One of the best hole in the wall spots in San Antonio! Sohill cafe took us by a huge surprise with how delicious the food is! The place itself is a true hole in the wall, not too huge inside and pretty cozy! The staff are awesome and the service is top tier!The food is legit! For appetizers we tried the spicy truffle fries, which had the perfect amount of truffle! They were also accompanied by a yummy aioli. We got the calamari as well that was pretty damn good! The breading wasn't too much and they were fried cleanly! We also got the arugula salad that was just as good too! The pizzas are the main event! My favorite by far was the fig & prosciutto pizza! I can't even describe how well the flavors went together, never thought I would enjoy pistachios on a pizza! I also tried a slice of the roasted garlic and Italian sausage pizzas! They too were super good but the Fig & Prosciutto is a must try!!! Overall 10/10 every time!

We visited SoHill on a Saturday evening when it wasn't too busy and arrived just in time for happy hour, which offered $2 off beer! All the beers on draft were made by Dorćol Distilling, including Highwheel Betty and a tasty Irish red. We ordered the Margherita pizza, which took about half an hour to arrive. Fortunately, we were enjoying each other's company, but if you're in a rush, this might not be the best spot for you. The pizza was delicious, though it could have used a bit more of the Italian sausage we paid extra for. The service, however, was excellent!

We love Sohill Cafe, best pizza ever! great cocktails and super beer selection. The atmosphere is comfortable and the customer service is excellent. highly recommend this neighborhood cafe!

1 of my favorite pizza spots. Definitely in my top 5. Such a cool place. Open kitchen. Great staff. Great pizza. Draft beer. Cozy atmosphere to enjoy your time there. Pastas are good. Pizzas are the HIT. I believe they have a night they have pizza deals or all pizzas for 10 bucks or something like that. That's when I try to go. Definitely worth try. If you have not been - GO. If you have been. Go again.

Asked for a burger w/ mustard, no mayo. After several salads (except mine) and pizzas were served, still no burger. Got it to go. Enough grease to power Willie's bus from Austin and back with lots of mayo and a strip of limp lettuce. Fries so limp I trashed them.

Excellent service and the food is delicious. Salad was amazing! Pizza was yummy! We definitely be returning!

Great food, nuff said. Pizza, wings, burgers all excellent. Happy hour specials are worth showing up for and they can do cocktails in partnership with Julia's next door.

This is one of San Antonio's best hidden gems. We love it so much, I hesitate to tell everyone else for fear it might become too popular! The service, the food, the wine, the casual ambience are all perfect
