Totally love their spring rolls. Often make a meal out of them! All the food is freshly made and portions are generous. Service is fast and efficient. Typical Asian decor. Casual dining that is consistent and delicious.

I have been coming to this restaurant since 1991 and my husband has been coming here since the 80's while stationed at Fort Sam. The food has been consistently good. The ingredients have always been fresh. The food made to order always comes out hot. The language barrier concerning the servers has never been an issue as long as there is patience. The server there currently speaks Spanish and is learning English. Just be patient. There's typically only one server for the entire restaurant. Again, patience. The elderly lady at the cash register is always just there to charge. Don't expect pleasantries Language barrier maybe? Probably. The building is old, but the tables are always clean. Their prices have gone way up but it's no different than any other prices going up in other San Antonio restaurants. I'll keep going there as long as it's open.

We've been eating here for over 30 years but now live out of town & don't get here very often anymore. Came in for lunch today, I have to say the tea & spring rolls were as good as they have always been. The seafood fried rice was terrible, I tried 3 bites & just couldn't eat it. We told the waiter but he just blew me off, I told the cashier when checking out & she blew me off too. There are so many good Vietnamese restaurants here that I don't think we'll be back anytime soon. I mean for the $56 we spent on lunch we should have had someone care that I didn't like my food & at least attempt to make it right.

The staff was friendly and quick to help us. Pho did not have much flavor. Wonton soup also didn't have much flavor. There wasn't that many people there so it was quick seating. Place was clean and the server was good to us!

Spring rolls were the only good item. We ordered the combination rice that comes with shrimp, chicken and pork. Well it only came with one piece of pork and two pieces of chicken and 3 shriveled shrimp and the rice was cold. We brought it to the waiter's attention and he said it was combination because it had a piece of pork. For almost $16. It should have been much better. By the way, there was a couple who found a bug in their food and walked out in disgust!! I surely won't return!!

My husband and I wanted Vietnamese coffee, and this spot was down the road from us. I called and placed an order for two Vietnamese coffees-- the lady who took my order was sweet and told me it would take about 10 minutes for my order to be ready for pickup, which was understandable. I was excited to get my coffee, but after my first sip, I was hit with the sweetest Vietnamese coffee I had ever had. I took another sip and could not continue to drink it. It's like they added a few tbsps of sugar to go along with the condensed milk, which is already sweet. I was so disappointed. Parking was horrible. So please be prepared to "figure" out how/where to park.

Ambiance is like being in a house with many open rooms. The iced tea was different as in that it tasted like Jasmine tea, which I love. The food presentation was nice, but the amount is small for the cost. They make up for less entree with the big, tasty egg rolls stuffed with ground pork that come automatically with your entree. Service was ok, our two entrees were not brought out at the same time.

Best Vietnamese spring rolls anywhere in SA! Great service, great attitude and ownership who take care of customers like family. The hot/sour hot/spice soup is very hearty and filling-best around! Highly recommend coming and enjoying this quiet place next to Witte Museum.

I have been going to this place for over 30 years. It used to be so good, nothing like it in San Antonio. I used to take friends there just so they could eat something unique and delicious. The last 2 times I got food poisoning. My son didn't even make it to the car before he blew chunks on the ground and then we fought for the bathroom for hours. That was 6 years ago. So I decided to give it a chance again, maybe things changed. The portions are laughable for the price. I got the chicken lemongrass and the pieces were RAW inside. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE PIECES. I spent close to $30 for one plate and a tea. I ate the spring rolls, rice and drank the tea. Didn't get food poisoning because I trashed the chicken. The health department needs to go in the place and close it down.

Really bad service, got order wrong. Forgot drinks. Food was overpriced for what you get, only 3-4 slices of meat in the Pho. Do not recommend, just go somewhere else if you want something good. This place sucked.
