Smokey Mo's BBQ

I actually ordered through Grubhub I was too exhausted to drive anywhere. This is my first time ordering from this restaurant. I'm sorry I don't have any photos I got right down to business when it arrived. My order didn't take long at all so I'm super impressed by that. So now the food I ordered. I got the Mac and cheese which is very delicious it's creamy just as I like it. I got green beans they were tasty. An order of turkey and burnt pork pieces I forgot what they are called on the menu. I requested extra onions pickles and sauce and I actually received it. I will definitely order again from there.

I've been to this location before and it has always been good but this time I don't know what they did to the brisket . It looked and tasted like something you would get from a fast food place. Everything else was good from the sausage to the chicken. I don't know if this was an off day or what but the brisket was disappointing. That should have never been sent out.

Love Smokey mo's so much! The food has always been consistently great, and the service is so welcoming and helpful with the menu. The have an awesome brisket sandwich and banana pudding, I highly suggest this place for a nice southern bbq meal!

The chicken was very juicy and moist. It tasted very good and the buttered potatoes were drenched in butter. First time visiting this place and I will come back again.Good size portions and the flavor was really good.The lobby was clean and there was plenty of seating available.

Yum! Meat is moist and flavorful and my husband loves their potato salad. Wish there was one closer to our house. It is our "go to" BBQ place.

Normally, I grade on expectations...and I should have known what to expect here. Strip Mall BBQ. What did I taste? Disappointment and remorse. Not because the food was bad, but because San Antonio has just been voted the #1 city in America for BBQ and I think I could have chosen a little better. I wasn't even pressed for time. Ordered the brisket sandwich combo. Sandwich - 3/5 (brisket, not very flavorful...but not bad)Tater salad - 3/5 (tasted pre-made...like you get at a grocery store...but not bad)Iced Tea - 5/5So, I don't know...I'm on the fence. 3/5 stars for now. I mean, I did get full.

Visited during lunch bc I remember it being pretty good. The staff was friendly but the food was borderline inedible.The brisket was flavorless. The bark was rock hard, the meat was chewy, no rendered fat, and gray. The cheesy potato side was the quality of a microwaveable potatoes drenched in butter with prepackaged cheddar cheese on it. I don't think I'll ever risk spending money here again and it looks like others are doing the same as there was only 1 table filled during lunch.

Excellent customer service brisket was goodMaybe a little fresher salad and it wouldve been excellent

Food was excellent, service was great, smell like a true bbq place! Really enjoy this location. One improvement they can make, water! Their water tastes horrible at this location. I suppose there is no water filter system. I live nearby and my tap doesn't taste as bad as this.

Great Bar-B-Que & sides. I wish they had a regular bar-b-que sauce in the tables as well. Can't handle the spicy sauce. Overall everything was great
