Earlier this week, we went to @smashincrab Stone Oak for dinner. Happy hour with food and drinks end at 6pm on weekdays.Dad and hubby had their flavored Lemonade, and I had the Signature Margarita on happy hour. Dad and hubby shared a bowl of Clam Chowder. Dad had the Cod Fish & Chips. Hubby had the Crawfish Etouffee. I had the Lobster Roll with Onion Rings instead of the cajun fries. There was much lobster on that roll. The food was pretty good and Jennifer was an attentive server. Overall, 5 stars.

Just refreshing my review. I still love this place. Been coming here since they opened. The staff knows my drinks and orders. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or if I have a problem. Lol. I have always loved the vibe here and still do. Here is my go to order: Bayou tea -- Snow Crab, Trinity, level 3. With a side of hush puppies for dipping in the boil bag sauce. A side of lemons to squeeze in the boil bag. You can thank me later.

As always, phenomenal!!! Went on a beautiful day to be outside. This time, however we tried queen crab legs, which I'm not gonna lie I thought it was gonna be less in quality. (versus King) But no!! Yes they were slightly smaller in diameter but they had a sweet distinct flavor. So good. Of course we got the Trinity sauce, because that truly makes it all come together. Will be definitely getting them again in the future. Ty (I think that's his name) was our server and super fun. Had some cocktails and was just a perfect afternoon :)))

Great down to earth place. It was great for a family outing and the seafood boils are great for groups.

Bayou bread sandwich is good, it is very messy to eat as the sandwich is falling apart, cajun fries as a side are good. All the seafood boils are good and I love spicy foods but the heat levels get extremely hot. If you want a normal amount of heat (compared to other seafood boils) get a 1 or 2 heat level. 3 and 4 might still be enjoyable but your mouth will hurt after. Anything higher is too hot to even enjoy the seafood let alone taste it. The heat levels also don't seem to be perfectly consistent on every visit. So just play it safe your first visit is my advice. The crawfish fries appetizer is also great. It is a pretty loud environment during peak hours. But the staff is nice and attentive.

The service here was good. The crab boil was fine not my favorite ever but not the worst I've had. Came out warm and tasted fresh. The drink flight was awful. Drank 1/ 4 of them. The oysters were AWFUL & tasted like soap? We only ate 2. Spent over $300 for 3 of us to eat here- came home hungry. For the price & overall not liking most of the things I ordered other than the crab boil itself- would not recommend.

I was craving crab or a lobster roll and decided to hit up This Smashing crab which is tucked away in the stone oak area. It offers a nice outdoor seating area under a couple shade trees. Which would be great during the summer. I ordered the lobster roll to go as I was needing to get home. It took about 10-15 minutes before they brought my food out. I got home (10 min drive) and found that the fries were pretty soggy which was disappointing. The lobster roll was fairly good, it was basically a piece of Texas toast with a nice portion of lobster nestled inside. The lobster had a decent taste with a light Cajun seasoning which looked like the same seasoning on the fries, for which I only ate a couple because they were soggy and cold. The price for what i got was a little high in my opinion but, I'll definitely try the place again when I get the craving and this time, eat in vs take out.

So. I've always been a fan. Always.Stopped by to treat out of town family to what I believe was at one time the best boil in town. My have the times changed. The food. Meh. $17 for a cluster of crab legs that are pathetic. The sauce was not even enough to cover the shrimp and crab legs. It was sad. The service was terrible. The waiter kept disappearing and wasn't attentive. Overall it was not good. I won't be back and guess I'll look for my boil fix elsewhere.

The restaurant was a fun place in a great location! We enjoyed the food but be prepared the spicy level on any of the boils is next level! Most of our table ordered level 2 it was quite spicy (even for some who enjoy a lot of spice).
