Slackers Bar

This really wasn't what I expected it to be as I searched barcade and this is what I found while it seems like it was a cool spot for that it was just another sports bar with loud tv's of the game just not my scene so I walked in and walked out other than that nothing more nothing less as that's my experience here so if that's your thing then you'd enjoy it!

Drinks were decently priced. They played a great variety of genres and lots of TVs as well as games for entertainment.

First time visiting this place and it was incredible. Amazing service, fun atmosphere, diverse group of people just having fun. Great full size bar and bartender was very friendly.

So, we've been looking for a bar with a variety of entertainment. We stopped at Slackers. Best choice ever! They have video game, pinball machines, a pool table, and more. The drinks were cold and stiff. They don't water down their drinks like some places. The atmosphere is chill and quant. People are friendly. Everyone here seems to be out and enjoying life with good company. My husband, best friend and I had a great time! Definitely would recommend! I can't wait to go back.

I've quickly become a regular here because this neighborhood bar is exactly the vibe I am looking for. I live by La Cantera, and everything here is loud, packed, and the service lacks. I randomly stumbled upon this new location a few months back and boy, are we so happy to have you on this side of town, Slackers! I come during the weekdays for happy hour and usually bring dinner with me, usually P Terry's, since they opened up a new location just a couple of blocks away. The patrons that come in here keep to themselves and I've never had a personal issue with anyone. They have several TVs and projectors set up, so you won't be missing any games when you come here. I love that I can play music on the jukebox, play games on my phone, or have a conversation without having to yell because it's too loud. The bartenders are absolutely so sweet and remember my drink of choice. Shoutout to Hannah and Rachel Anne! You ladies are super sweet and very attentive. This location is still new to the area but I have a feeling they won't take long to get a good crowd in daily! They are a very chill bar to hang out with friends and play some games as well.They don't have a dj but they do have a dj app that you can pay to play songs. Pricing is on the cheaper side. No food but they are open to you bringing in outside food.

This bar is sooo fun and cool! So many games and they all work! It's kind of hidden and doesn't look like much on the outside but when you walk in it's totally different. Perfect place to hang out and have great conversations, not crazy loud.

Bad service. Very rude owner/manager. Was personally escorted out for asking him what cream he uses for his eczema. I know what I just wrote sounds like a joke, but i am being dead serious. Was no reason for me to get kicked out by the middle aged white eczema suffering manager. Bartender wasn't very friendly as well. Do not go here.

The food was good and the atmosphere was great. Was having an amazing time with friends but the bartender had a very rude and had a sarcastic attitude. Eventually got kicked out and called cheapskates by the owner for not tipping more than $2 per drink. Absolutely unacceptable service and will NOT be returning.

Good bar, good drinks and lots of potential I just have one slight issue with the service. If you have problems with kicking people out do not stay in business there was someone who needed to be kicked out of the bar. He made the experience from a perfect night to a disturbed one I know he was drunk and he couldn't help himself you guys need to cut people off when they get to that point but as long as you can do that I'll be back. I have never found a bar I can get slightly tipsy and then play galaga or teenage mutant ninja turtles. Or play pool with buddies, please don't be shy about kicking people out and this place will be amazing! You can get drunk and play pinball while waiting to get undrunk how cool is that!
