Sire Bar

Dim lit bar with dark wood bar and shelves. It reminds me of a medieval library except with bottles of liquor instead of books. It gives a certain vibe, which I enjoy. It also depends on the mood because our first time there was one a Friday night to wi d down the evening. The second time was on Sunday afternoon on our way out. Although there was a solid crowd and TV playing the football game, I would go to one of the other bars on site for sports. The service was good both times, but nothing outstanding or 5 stars. The drinks were similar. Good, but not great. Overall, we would return for a night cap if staying at the resort.

We had a great bartender here during our stay. He makes a great whiskey sour! I had a cocktail. So grateful to have these options.

I've been to Sire so many times and I can't believe I haven't RAVED about it to Yelp yet.If you're into classy cocktails, whiskey/bourbon, cigars, and a quiet speakeasy feel - this is THE PLACE for you. The staff is always attentive and helpful in helping you find the perfect glass to sip and enjoy; they're always open to helping you find something new. Regardless of the time of year, it's always nice to grab a glass and sit next to one of their open firepits in the yard and cuddle up and just enjoy the beautiful yard and sunset. I couldn't stress it enough that this isn't a place you really go to for margaritas or "party" drinks - just a warning because I've overheard numerous times from the bar how they can make it but it's just not the vibes.

We had a great time at this bar! We had a $100 credit to use at the resort and we used it here! Jasper was our bartender and he was amazing! He made an amazing old fashioned and a French 75 (with cognac)! It was so good, this bar was laid back but still fancy at the same time- no dress code, and a good amount of seating, but we sat at the bar and had a great time! The bar opened at 5pm I think and closed around 10pm (or maybe midnight lol) not sure

Can't speak to the food or drinks here. The ambience is really nice. It has a dark cozy feel. It's right next to the lobby so it gets a fair amount of traffic. When my wife and I dropped in at 7:00 on a Saturday, there were three occupied tables with 7 people total. After we sat down, two more table of four came in. We sat and watched three bartenders bring drinks to the new tables while we waited. I would have waved one over but no one looked our way. After 10 minutes we left and went to Sweet Fire Grill (also in La Cantera Resort), where we were served as soon as we sat down (they already had five people at the bar and only two bartenders who were also serving the restaurant). I guess if you are the only people there, it could be great. 2 stars for ambience and convenience.

Jasper was an amazing bartender. I watched him make different drinks and he was so educated and skillful. He was super sweet and didn't mind all the questions we had. He is very knowledgeable on the area and can recommend different places to try. Very relaxing and the ambience was amazing. Would love to go on a date here

I visited the Sire Bar this evening to have a cocktail and Jimmy the Bartender was there working with Lawrence in new cocktails for the bar. He invited me to do some taste testing and was genuinely interested in my opinion and would make adjustments to the formula when we would both agree that the drink need adjusting. He was relentless until the drink was perfect. All the bartenders were great and very knowledgeable. The scene is chill and laid back. The music was good and not too loud so it was easy to have a conversation. This is definitely a place to check out and enjoy!

Great. They have some hard to find liquors here and a knowledgeable, friendly staff with generous pours. This is a bar you want to be in, and return to. Exquisite. Pinky out! ;)

Nice bar in the la cantera hotel. Only downside is the size - it's kind of small so it can get busy with big events. Otherwise, very nice snd relaxing vibe. Great service with bartenders.

If you're a whiskey fan, then you have to stop here. The selections of bourbons and single malts was impressive.I dropped in during happy hour to enjoy an $8 Old Fashioned. The atmosphere was low key and felt almost exclusive. The bartenders were friendly, offering some conversation around mixed drinks. If you have the inclination, they also have a nice selection of cigars.
