Have visited Sawasdee a prior time and it was phenomenal. This time was better than the last! I'm up for Thai food pretty much at any time lol Someone suggested this place and I was thrilled to come back! This time we ordered the spring rolls, and I had Tom Kah Soup, same as last time! lol it's soo good, it's probably the one thing I would repeat order here. My +1 ordered the Roasted Duck Curry, and I tried some, wow just delicious. Their service is always friendly, prompt and attentive. The space itself is pretty large, but feels peaceful every time I've gone for dinner. I wonder if they get pretty busy during the day but safe to bet that they do lol

Discovered another hidden gem here in San Antonio....Our appetizer, the shrimp spring roll. Nice and crisp veggies with peanut sauce.For lunch we order the roasted duck curry and the shrimp curry. These meals were out of this world amazing! Just the aroma from being placed on our table, I knew we'd love it. An explosive symphony of flavors.

There's a simple reason why locals keep bringing visiting family and friends to this location. That reason is that it's easily the best Thai food in the city.Working and living nearby has given me the opportunity to try quite a few items on the menu. There's nothing less than good! The worst thing I can say is that some of their food is only good and not great. The green curry fried rice is especially delicious, but be careful on the spice! A solid place to start testing the levels is at #2 out of 5 and work your way up from there. A #4 spice can be challenging depending on your tolerance. The wonderful staff is the best part of your experience. They always have beaming smiles and are sweet, caring, and thoughtful. They get to know their regulars so we'll that eventually they'll just know you. San Antonio really doesn't have any more authentic or better Thai food than this.

Day #2 in the same week I'm in SAT.Garlic Broccoli with Pork and a bowl of curry ... maybe Mus-sa-mun Curry(?) on the right? Great leftovers for a snack later tonight! I'm never disappointed with the food here. Just wish I lived in SAT to be able to eat this delicious food more often and visit with Kuri, the cook. She's awesome, too!

I ordered the Pad Gratiem Prik Thai (garlic) lunch special with pork, and the mango sticky rice. To be frank I ordered only for the sticky rice but assumed I should have some protein as well. The pork smelled AMAZING but when I tasted it it was very lackluster. The sauce at the bottom had all the flavor but was too think to coat the meat and broccoli. I think if they thickened it up so you could spoon it over it would be A1. Now, on to my mango sticky rice tour of the area. I like the texture of the rice in this one as at some places it's not as "squishy" if you want to call it that. Only thing is I DO prefer when they serve the rice in the compact puck. They gave me more mango than the last place for the same price! Overall, excellent experience and good food

Well while the flavor of the Duck Curry was ok, it became super unappetizing because the Duck had like veins & fat attached to it and just looked super gross. The rice was in such a small box we all laughed when I opened my bag a mini portion of rice. Then I ordered curry puffs with chicken and omg but into a super hard bone / something hard bone textured it was so gross. I wasted $30 and couldn't even eat my lunch & know now not to ever order from there again

The food was amazing!!!! Shrimp tempura was hot and crispy and the salad rolls were refreshing and paired perfectly with the sauce. For our mains we got Sawasdee salmon (ginger sauce) which was perfectly cooked and the vegetables were fresh. Thai fried rice was some of the best fried rice I've had along with the spicy noodles that had the perfect amount of spice. And the mango sticky rice!!!!!!!!! Not pictured because it was gone within seconds. It was my first time trying it and had the perfect amount of sweetness (not too sweet). The service was amazing as well and made sure we were well taken care of and food came out fast!
