Why did it take me so long to visit Salsas?! I used to work in the area and passed this place years ago and never once stopped but I rectified said mistake a couple of months back when work send me to this part of town and am happy to report that I have made a trip to Salsas every trip since. I will start my review with two statements regarding my experience: I have only ever visited via the drive-thru and I've only ever had breakfast tacos here. So yes, they have a drive-thru and it can get busy. That being said, they move cars pretty quickly. Do keep in mind that it can cause a bit of congestion getting into their parking lot/in line depending where the car(s) in front of you were coming from. Their menu is located directly under the ordering window. Place your order and pay at window one to receive a small ticket number you'll use to pick your order up around back at window two. Service has always been very friendly, greeting me with a smile and happy to accommodate any requests I have for my tacos. So far as my tacos I have tried a few different ones but the one that ALWAYS makes it into my bag is their chilaquiles breakfast taco on flour tortilla. Some places in San Antonio treat this taco as little more than a migas taco with cheese but here they do it right. Trust me-order this taco and you will not be disappointed. I also do love their migas tacos, potato egg and cheese taco (sometimes with avocado), and hueveos a la Mexicana con queso. No matter which tacos I opt for I always enjoy said tacos on flour tortillas and with their spicy delicious green salsa.Suffice it to say that this hole-in-the-wall joint is on my hit list any time I'm working over on this side of town. In a town full of Mexican restaurants and breakfast tacos this place stands out and is totally worth the visit.

Started the meal off right with some great salsa complimenting the chips. The service was a-ok, however the food was a bit mediocre... Up the street @ la Perla had better tasting tacos. I tried the street tacos asada(steak), pastor(pork), lengua(tongue) and pollo(chicken) with charro beans... There is just too much competition to serve mediocrity.I couldn't eat the pork, the pollo needed salt, asada was rubbery and the winner of my plate was lengua. I got the bottom of the charro pot so that would explain the causticity and color of the beansIt seems to draw a crowd at the drive through and during lunch so I'll have to come back for a second opinion with something else.

Very much an 'on the way to work' stop if you are hankerin' for some breakfast tacos. This place is fast and affordable. The drive thru is efficient to push the folks through without much fanfare. The prices are not over the top. Variety, variety, variety...even if it ain't on the menu, they can make it from scratch. Finally, the tacos are delicious.

I can't believe I've worked off Rittman for 6 years and this little place has been under my nose the whole time. I ordered a Beef Fajita and a Carne Guisada taco. They were both meaty, the tortillas were fresh, fluffy and delicious! My only regret is that I didn't get a picture of my tacos before I scarfed them down. Place doesn't look like much on the outside but the food was good!

The positive reviews & consistently packed parking lot convinced us to try this place. But, I'm sad to say that my husband & I did not enjoy the food. We were in the mood for street tacos. So we ordered tacos al pastor, carne asada tacos, & picadillo tacos.We knew we had made a mistake coming here when the food was served to us literally 1 minute after we ordered. Definitely not made fresh. If we would have closed our eyes, we would not have been able to tell one protein from another. None of the meats had it's own distinctive flavor... no flavor at all really. The meats had been previously cooked and reheated (possibly in the microwave) for our dining displeasure. They had that funky dirty dish rag scent that reheated meats usually get :/Wonder why it's always so busy here????...especially in the morning and on the weekends. Maybe their breakfast tacos are amazing? Perhaps their menudo on the weekends is the best ever? Who knows. All I know is we were left with a bad taste in our mouths and don't wish to come back here any time soon.

The first clue that this place knows what's up was the line of 7 or 8 cars in the drive thru blocking the parking lot. Second was accidentally walking in through the kitchen and seeing cooks speedily grilling up steamy foods.Finally locating the correct entrance, the restaurant is bigger on the outside than it seems, it's roughly the size of a gas station but has about 13 tables/ booths that seat 4-6 people, I felt bad taking up a 6 person table with just 2 of us, so we ordered enough food to fill the table :) You seat yourself and a waitress brings you a menu (with pictures in case you're confused/ want to order what you saw that other table get.) It's by no means fancy, but the food is delicious!

Good here is awesome.This place is kinda small and seating is limited. We talked in and seated ourselves immediately at the last table available. Tacos were awesome and the shrimp tostada was delicious. This I shot a 5 star restaurant but it is a perfect place to enjoy your lunch break or a quick bite and have some good food.I passed by this location at least 100 times over the past year. Never wanted to stop. Glad we did. And we will return

Nice place to eat Mexican food. Well priced and we were able to have a staff meeting in the restaurant with good service.

I asked for a refund the owner didn't want to give it to me & when i asked for the corporate number he didn't want to give it to me they charged me wrong on my order i didn't want any problems & i kept trying to tell him but he was just very rude & didn't want cooperate with me now i lost my money & i didn't even take the food so i paid for the food that i didn't even get to bring home with i really hope they run out of business because this is very unprofessional & very very upsetting & now i don't know who to call about this complaint all the staff there is rude i hope yall loose yall business
