Salad and Go

I recently went back to Salad and Go. I again tried the Cobb salad with creamy blue cheese dressing. It was very good. So fresh and delicious. I really like the bowl it comes in. It's so large that you can put the dressing in and shank it to distribute the dressing. Then I don't use a whole lot. I used the driver through and the ladies working were very nice. They confirmed my order and made sure I got the correct salad. Since this building is only a drive through, there was no place to sit. When you go expect to not stay. They do have a walk up window as well if that is what you would like to do.

I wanted to love this place so much!!! I'm not sure if staff just wanted to get out of there early (we came at 5, they close at 6) for New Year's Eve or what but I definitely got the annoyed vibe. Definitely not friendly and not helpful but I'll give it another shot. My husband got the Thai salad and it was delish! There's definitely not enough dressing for the amount of salad so I'd suggest getting another one or do like he did and take out half the lettuce. I ordered the fajita salad and was so disappointed! The chicken tasted canned, definitely not enough dressing and toppings didn't add any flavor unfortunately. It really just fell flat for me. The salads really are enough for two people if you add extra meat. Thankfully I ordered a side of roasted beets and those were excellent! We also ordered a cold brew and haven't tried it yet but they're $1.50 so either way you won't hear any complaints from me. I won't be rushing back anytime soon but eventually I'll give it another try.

It's a walk up restaurant. Very friendly staff. Helpful in deciding what I wanted. Delicious and fresh packed in a bowl. I added grilled shrimp when I got home. Definitely a lot and a great choice. This was my first time visiting. It's not a restaurant it's walk up or drive through which was fine.

Cobb salad has a hearty portion of mixed greens, 2 cherry tomatoes, boiled egg, sprinkle of bacon bits and avocado. Large bowl and hooded top is a nice concept to toss salad but dressing is watery and other ingredients missing for a true Cobb salad. Salad is like an airport food item.

So happy this location is finally open! I fell in love with Salad and Go when I lived in DFW and cannot express how excited I was to see that they were opening in San Antonio!Went here today with a coworker and got both the Autumn and Cobb salads with chicken and 2 cold brew coffees with oat milk for under $20! Y'all, that is pricing that cannot be beat literally anywhere in the SA area. The salads were made to order, fresh, and filling with generous amounts of both lettuce and toppings. The workers were friendly and clearly happy to be working now that the location has opened up, which I really appreciated. Will be back every single week!

The line was long but that is to be expected with this highly anticipated opening. They moved through as quickly as they could and were really sweet. My salad was HUGE. I got a Greek salad with no olives or feta add chicken and I couldn't finish it. Even the kids salad was really big. I love salad and know how much the dressing makes or breaks it and their creamy Greek dressing is amazing. I do wish it came with a little bit more but that's just because I liked it so much. The prices are incredible which is feel is rare for a healthy meal. Will definitely be a staple in our household from here on out.

Everything. For $7 you can't beat it. What a win. The packaging is perfect and the salads are huge for the price. This place is a major go.

I am THE BIGGEST Salad and Go fan. I'm talking, found them in AZ, begged for them to open in NV now thrilled they're in my hometown of SA. I actually had them last week in Vegas, then realized they were down the street from my mom's house in Texas, and insisted on taking her here for dinner - and she's already been back twice.What's not to love about this place? Concise menu of salads, everything can be made as a wrap, prices are low as heck - we got three salads, two wraps and two drinks for $43.30. The math isn't even mathing, it's such a good deal. The drive thru only concept keeps their overhead low, and I love how they have seasonal specials and the occasional deal - I am here often enough that I wish they had a loyalty club but their prices are already as low as they can get.We got the cobb salad (w/ranch), autumn salad (double sweet potato, they were out of brussels sprouts), and bbq ranch salad, a buffalo chicken wrap and a fajita wrap, the blueberry drink and an Arnold palmer - everyone was happy AND we had leftovers. So happy to have this spot available for fast, healthy and affordable eating even when I'm traveling.

I tried a Greek Salad with steak for dinner along with a green tea! The tea was good and refreshing on a hot summer night and tasted fantastic the way it came, unsweetened! The salad was fresh and tasted really good. It had beautiful greens, Kalamata olives, tomatoes and feta cheese. I chose steak as my protein. I cut my salad in 1/2 because it was so plentiful and I made 2 meals out of it. I love how it comes in a shakeable bowl too! I will definitely be going back! It was right at $9-$10! Totally worth it!

It's a good concept that is definitely cheaper than some of the healthier restaurants in the area. The fajita wrap was good. The downfall was the description doesn't mention onions. So, when I quickly scanned the menu, I didn't see onions. I was like, cool, I'll take that. Unfortunately, through speed reading, I missed the ingredient of pico de Gallo. It's my fault for not paying attention, but I still think they should express all ingredients like they do with the others. Will visit again. Moose Out
