Sabor Mexico Mezcal

This place is insanely good. I was getting work done a couple of doors down and had lunch here. It is legit some of the best Mexican I have had in a long while. I feel like a lot of my typical Mexican food picks have fallen off over the years and this place was an incredibly pleasant surprise. Enchiladas poblanos were extremely good. 10/10, highly recommend.

28 Jul 2024We stopped by on the way back from Rainbow Gardens, a few miles north of here. It was still crowded at 2:30pm. Several large groups celebrating birthdays and whatnot. The menu has all manner of breakfast items such as tacos, migas, and chilaquiles. What I call lunch and dinner listed tacos, chicken dishes such as mole, bistec, mini tacos, parrilla of several kinds. There were no enchiladas on the menu. I had the mole (almost 3 chicken breasts) and the husband had the bistec mini tacos. Both were delicious. Tea was $3.25, borderline high to me. The flour and corn tortillas are made in-house. I had corn. The husband's plate did not come with tortillas. Our server was a bit overwhelmed and did not come by too often. They appeared to have four servers for the ton of people that were in the restaurant. You can sit at the bar and eat. The bar is a pretty area with TV. Go there.

It's a decent place on the inside with a full bar. Their breakfast is good if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.We had the Chilaquiles plate, which is $9 plus an extra $1 if you want an egg. I can honestly say, this is the first time in San Antonio that I've been charged extra for an egg on Chilaquiles. We also ordered the Migas Diables plate for $11.Overall, they have good service and the food isn't bad.

Stopped by with a co-worker after work for a quick drink and appetizer, and we had a great experience! The piña colada was absolutely amazing - one of the best I've had in a long time. Although the appetizer menu was a bit limited, the quality made up for the quantity. The highlight of the evening was the live music, which was a delightful surprise for a Wednesday night. It created a lively and enjoyable atmosphere that made our visit even more memorable.Overall, a wonderful spot for drinks and some mid-week entertainment. We'll definitely be back!

The food and service here is great! The cafe de olla tasted so good! And the servers came by and refilled it throughout our meal. The hot, cinnamon drink was such a great way to start our day.The food and tortillas were really delicious. My partner loved this place and she's not a fan of most Mexican restaurants in San Antonio, being from Brownsville. So i'm glad we found this spot and know where to go for a great breakfast!

This is my first time at this restaurant, even though I've seen it there for years. A friend of mine suggested we go have breakfast there because they have the best café de Olla. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was inviting, very clean. The entire staff was very helpful. We were so comfortable we didn't wanna leave. We ordered a flan for dessert.

On top of a great menu, Sabor has live music on Sunday nights! Think we just found a new dining & dance place! Very festive for the holidays!

Service is 10/10. Best authentic Mexican food I've ever had. The chilaquiles are so flavorful. The tacos are amazing. And you can't skip out on the cafe de olle. The papa tacos with chicharon and salsa verde is outstanding! Ide go here everyday if I could.

Expensive. Chips, drink. And street tacos. Service was good. Nice atmosphere. Drink was way too sweet for my taste. Took one sip. Was still charged for it.
