I was in the mood for chilaquiles and found this spot with great reviews. I wasn't disappointed! I followed the bartender's recommendation and ordered the Chilaquiles Divorciados with verdes & rojo sauces. The flavors were fantastic, and while the rojo had a bit of heat, it was still delicious! Paired it with a mimosa and that was a nice little solo Sunday Brunch Great, friendly/attentive staff. Nice atmosphere, inside & outside seating. Highly recommend you try this spot if you haven't already!

I'm big on reviewing "best of" lists, and at some point, this joint found its way into my bookmarks thanks to some list...My wife and I arrived early for what we hoped would be a quiet date night, and were seated in the larger "common room" near the kitchen entrance, not the bar/atrium/sun room area. Unfortunately, our date night wasn't so quiet. Shortly after we sat, a large table of about ten was seated nearby. They were so loud (and progressively got louder) we could barely carry on a conversation.I was disappointed in the queso flameado starter as it did not stay soft very long; it hardened quickly. I don't think it's worth the price. What was worth the price, though, was the Tampiquena de Res. The meal was huge, and the skirt steak was not tough to cut. The charro beans were also fantastic. Service was friendly, but spotty. Our waitress checking on us amounted her to asking how everything was as she continued walking by ....I think this place has a great vibe; I'm sorry it was ruined for us by a huge, loud, crowded table. Although I'd skip the queso flameado, I'd definitely go back for that skirt steak!

**Review for Sabor Cocina Bar** I had a horrific experience at Sabor Cocina Bar. When I arrived with my service animal, he was not wearing a service jacket. It's important to note that it is not legally required for a service animal to wear a jacket or vest to be recognized. As soon as the hostess mentioned she couldn't seat us, I explained that he was a service animal. Despite this, she refused to seat us. When I specifically asked if the reason for being denied service was because of my service dog, she confirmed that it was. I even tried to provide her with a card explaining the ADA laws regarding service animals, but she refused to look at it or listen further. When I asked to speak to a manager, she initially refused. It wasn't until I mentioned the possibility of legal action that the general manager, Pablo Mesta, came to speak with me. His response wasn't much better. He initially refused to seat us and then offered to put us in a separate section of the restaurant, away from other diners. When I explained that segregating me like that was illegal, he reluctantly agreed to seat us with the general public. By this point, the entire ordeal had triggered my PTSD so severely that I had to leave. The restaurant is owned by Nancy Moreno, and based on this experience, I will not return to this or any business associated with her or Mr. Mesta. The way I was treated left me embarrassed to be a veteran who served in Afghanistan and Iraq and came home with PTSD. Their actions blatantly violated my legal rights. I cannot recommend this place.

We love Sabor for breakfast when visiting San Antonio. Their chilaquiles are fabulous!! Highly recommend an order with both the red and the green sauces. The margarita flights are fun to share. The waitstaff is always friendly and helpful. We enjoy the atmosphere out on the front enclosed patio area. Highly recommend Sabor.

One of my new favorites! Love the margarita flights all the flavors were great but tamarind was the best. Love that they add Chamoy and Tajín to each one. The tortilla soup was great, but next time I'll get no tortilla strips. They were overwhelming. The queso had a good taste but was really thick. The salsa was a weird color but tasted amazing with perfect spice! My hubby and I shared the Tampiqueña De Res with a beef enchilada and a green enchilada a la carte. The green enchilada was soooooo good the beef enchilada came with chili con carne and had a nice chili flavor. The meat was great but next time we'll get as side of ranchero because it needed a sauce. No tortillas We will definitely be back!

Stopped in July 5th (after attempting on the 4th but they were closed) for lunch with our kiddos and a nice, cool spot to watch the France/Portugal soccer game. We did have to wait a bit to be seated as there was no one at the entrance. As I proceeded to walk around and snap pics is when we were acknowledged and quickly seated near the bar area. What was immediately appealing to this restaurant was the ambiance - beautifully art displayed and a cute place for a photo op. Our server was wonderful, however, I don't recall his name and he didn't have a name tag. He was attentive and was able to quickly answer any questions we had and more than helpful in directing us to parts of the menu we were looking for. We tried a margarita flight and a house margarita (happy hour). Flight had passion fruit (least fav), strawberry (fav), sangria swirl (2nd fav), and mango (which was okay - the most artificially flavored one. All were beautifully dressed with chamoy and tajin and the house was requested to be this way (instead of salt). Beef enchiladas - both kiddos chose this plate and there were no complaints. Lots of flavorful sauce and heaps of meat and cheese. Not spicy and the rice and beans were tasty and not missing anything. Fried fish tacos - warm, perfectly fried, not greasy and lots of fresh ingredients AND the corn tortillas were just like my grandmas! Handmade, warm, and delicious. The only lacking part on these tacos was there could have been a sauce to bring it all together and add a little moisture. If there way, I didn't see or taste it. A lime added to the plate to squeeze through would have been good but they were still great, regardless. Enchiladas verdes - tomatillo sauce was good, not spicy and the food was delivered hot and very fresh. All in all, wonderful experience, great service, and a beautiful setting. When we come back to San Antonio, we will certainly be making another stop in, definitely to try the brunch menu.

So this was our second time there we went back because the first time it was so good and the second time didn't disappoint either the food is so good and it's not crazy expensive like some of these bougie Mexican restaurants the atmospheres is the same and the food is delicious. I can't stop saying that And then I wanna talk about our server. He is the sweetest man so kind so compassionate. His name is Alejandro so if you go over there, I would definitely sit in his section. He's the best and he remembers you because he cares and I would go back to see him, even if the food wasn't that great because he makes you feel like family

We celebrated my dad's 75th birthday here today. The owner Nancy went out of her way to accommodate our party of 18 people. Her staff was awesome. The food was delicious and all our dishes were amazing. The drinks were on point. We are definitely coming back soon. I love the decor here. The decor is beautiful. Lots of photos opportunities in this beautiful place. We highly recommend you visiting this restaurant soon.
