Round Table Pizza

While my wife and I were staying at the Aloft Hotel (basically next door), we were looking for a good pizza spot but didn't really find anything that stood out nearby. After a long day, we decided to walk over to Round Table rather than drive to a fancier looking place and we were pleasantly surprised. Even though it's in a strip mall, it was a fun little spot. The whole staff was kind and greeted every person that walked in like they were regulars. I had low expectations for the pizza but it was pretty solid. I'd give the pizza a solid 4 honestly! I plan on dropping by again if we are back in the area.

Let me start by saying the management and staff here were incredibly friendly and were apologetic for what I hope was an off night. We ordered our food and grabbed a seat. The menu was fun and they had $3 happy hour pints so I was looking forward to the stay. Unfortunately, after about 25 minutes I checked in with the cashier and she informed me that only the manager can operate the tap and she was making a delivery. Bummer but things happen. About 10 minutes later the manager did arrive and she upped me to a mug for the delay. Excellent service there!Another 10 minutes pass and the pizza arrives. Yes, it took about 45 minutes to get our food. I didn't expect that long of wait. The pizza was pretty good. A little greasy for me but we enjoyed it enough. Again, hoping it was just an off night because I like the style and menu and the happy hour was a nice deal. I'd like to try it again due to the kindness of the staff alone.

Nice fresh toppings and crust nicely toasted but not overdone. Very generous with the toppings on our Hawaiian Pizza.

Came here for quick bite to eat, of course I was in the mood for pizza & wings, so had to try this place out. My boyfriend is from Cali & mentioned it's popular out there. It's a small dining area but there is seating outside & a bar with additional seating. Staff were friendly! We ordered a veggie pizza plus 12 wings, original hot & lemon pepper. They were the right combination of crispy & juicy. The pizza was on point, definitely will go back.

Pleasantly surprised with this California pizza chain's single outlet in San Antonio! Round Table's a staple in California, and I'm pleased to report that if you like it there, you'll like it here.This is a classic California pie, medium-thick and with a crust that has a crumbling of cornmeal underneath. Excellent balance of cheese to toppings, with a nice crunch and chew. Highly recommend the pizza, all the way.That said, the service is decent but the ambiance kind of sucks. The old RT places had real booths and a little bit of space. Here, the footprint's too small - it's crowded and loud, they even squeezed in a wine bar! So, not the best place to grab a slice but if you can take it home, thumbs up.This place scores a 4 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below.5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Weekend with my sons means trying another pizza place. Short and simple: pizza was good with lots of toppings and not terribly expensive. The humans were friendly and attentive. The inside area was clean and had a good flow for the foot traffic. I can't put my finger on why, but something keeps me from loving it as much as some of the other places I've been. However one of my sons liked it enough to want to go back the next day for his birthday.

Coming from Nor Cal was glad to see a Round Table Pizza open in SA.Ordered 1/2 Maui King Arthur pizza.The Maui pizza on the sweeter side.King Arthur was perfect like I remembered.Brings back memories pizza and beer with my homies in Nor Cal.Honestly, many good choices for pizza places around SA. Hope they open location in Stone Oak Area.

Again, 10/10. Great service, yummy food, and the freshest salad ever. The owner was making her rounds this evening and stopped by. Sweet and welcoming. It's no wonder the team is so good, they've got great leaders setting the example.

Clean restaurant, order process is quick and easy (order at the counter and then sit), we ordered a variety of pizza styles (pepperoni, meat lovers, pepperoni and jalapeño, supreme) and each one was so very good! I don't know what they do with their pepperonis but they are definitely quality! The service was top notch-- everyone was so friendly, attentive, happy to clean out the table to make room for more food, pizza was fresh and all so very good. Draft beer was excellent and well-poured. The entire family loved it here!

I placed an order to-go and everything was excellent!We had 2 large pizzas - perfectly done and delicious!Hot and mild buffalo wings - very good!The Dragon Platter - mozzarella sticks, potato wedges and jalapeño poppers - all delicious!Parmesan bread twists and Cesar salad were gone before I could try them - teenager approved!Everyone was friendly when I went in to pick up the pizza. We will definitely order again!
