Had a variety of tacos (barbacoa, al pastor, asada, etc...) all excellent. Combo plate also excellent. Salsa served warm / steaming and was addictive. Everything on our plate was fresh - avocados perfectly ripe and fresh.. On the one hand the last thing stone oak needs is another taco place, but this one is right up there with Taco Diner in terms of quality and authenticity.

We have been in several times over the last few months when we have no idea what to do for supper. I'm so glad they're in the neighborhood now! The dinner specials during the week are awesome! Breakfast tacos have been a hit as well! We will definitely be back. Enchiladas verdes and chicken fajitas are great. Good rice and beans. Cheese enchiladas are good as well!

This is a relatively new place near us. We had been wanting try it out for a while and finally were able to while we were running errands. It is located in the old Golden Chick place. I was a little discouraged when we walked in and there were NO customers and it was the lunch hour. However we were not daunted and ventured onward. The menu is pretty much the same or similar to any of a few hundred TexMex restaurants. We settled on an enchilada plate that included a puffy taco(a San Antonio original). That should give us a good cross section of what they are about. The enchiladas were pretty good as were the rice and beans. The Puffy Taco was great although pretty small. But they usually are anyway. It came with one flour tortilla. It was stiff on one side. However that did not take away from how good this plate of food was, and it was hot. The pricing is very reasonable and the service was excellent. The red salsa is tasty but not much for being spicy(hot). I failed to ask for any other. My only concern is they play the music waaay too loud. I'm sure it's that way for the guys working in the back to hear it. I was able to tune it out...this time.

Enjoyed our first visit to our new nearby Mexican restaurant. Drive thru option and restaurant quality food is a treat!!!!! We loved our flautas and crispy taco meal. Crisp tacos, well flavored and rice and beans equally delicious. To my surprise and quite pleasant one at that... the flautas were not dry and were so flavorful!!! So thrilled to have this option close by!

New addition to the neighborhood and I have seen good reviews on Nextdoor. It was a Saturday afternoon so I decided to give them a try. When I arrived around 2 they had four tables occupied with customers. The restaurant walls are decorated colorfully and it is a nice touch. They have a good amount of booths and table seating available. They also have a drive thru. They do offer tablel service but I initially wasn't sure when I walked in, so I went to the counter first. As soon as I was seated the waitress came over to get my order. I wanted to try something basic to get an idea of what the restaurant was about. I ordered a carne asada taco ($4) and a carne guisada taco ($4). They also provide chips and salsa. The red salsa has a good flavor and a little hint of spice. The chips are thicker than most restaurants and I am okay with that. They would be perfect to hold up toppings for nachos. The super thin chips break as soon as you touch them. My tacos arrived quickly and were steaming hot. Both were filled with a good amount of meat which is rare these days. I tasted both without adding anything to them to get the true flavor. The asada had a nice char and there were some grilled onions in the mix. The guisada was had nice chunks of beef and a thick gravy. I did add a little salt to the guisada which gave it the perfect touch. I also tried the green salsa and it has a slow burn but a decent taste. I can see stopping by here on my way home to grab some tacos or enchiladas. This is a welcomed addition to the regular stuff in the neighborhood.

Order took forever to be ready, the cook in the back was using microwave to prepare orders... Probably won't return.

Best fresh crispy tacos and tostadas. No prefab tortilla shells. They have been bought out by Taqueria datapoint. The menu is huge now and a bit more expensive. Hope they are just as good.

New Mexican Restaurant in TimberWood Park Area. Been there twice and both times I was pleased. Chicken enchiladas had good flavor on the first visit. The Red sauce with the chips was very good (didn't try the Green sauce). On 2nd visit, the enchiladas and puffy tacos were both fresh. The bean and rice were also good. Service was good both times. Overall, I'm impressed with this new restaurant and I would recommend to others. Daily $8 specials are there and prices are average.
