Rivulet Kitchen & Bar

We brought my vegan sister here for dinner on a Sunday. There is a small parking lot and some street-side parking across the street. We loved the prior restaurant at this location and were excited to try the new one. The building appears to be an old house. My sister got the falafel and veggies, my wife got the crab cakes, and I got the rivy ruby. We all loved our food and the portions were good.

Scale 1-5. (5 highest)Food- Both the portobello mushrooms and bang bang shrimps were a 4. Both were flavorful and good shareable for my spouse and I. We were the first customers at restaurant when they opened. Arrived here around 11:30am (Saturday)Service - 4 nothing special Ambience- 4 nothing special

Always looking for new places and we were missing Little Gretals. They have made the space look great. Will enjoy the outdoor area once it gets warmer. Service was excellent, everyone very nice. I started with a margarita. Very tasty but a bit small for $14. The wife had the bang bang shrimp bowl. She said very good. lots of veggies. I tried 2 of the appetizers. Fried ravioli - very tasty. Loved the brown butter dipping sauce. Must have had syrup or something sweet in it. Delish. Bacon corn jalapeño fritters were okay. They were more like a muffin than a fritter. Will probably go again and try a burger. Lots of different things on the menu.

This place was such a nice find! Has outdoor seating and spacious indoors. Quaint and lovely. Service was fantastic, attentive waitress. We got a burger and couscous bowl. Burger was completed, clean plate! The shrimp on the couscous was semi raw, but it's ok. I loved the avocado, edamame and corns! Could go lighter on the dressing. Portion was great. I packed the rest to go and will just cook the shrimps more when I get home. It seems like they may have an upstairs but didn't go look. We did enjoy this place in the town. You could go across to the check out the stream too! Will be back!

Yum! This place has great sweet potato fries and good ranch. The salmon appetizer was a little overcooked. The staff was really nice. We had a kind waiter. The ambiance has a good little vibe

When I walked into RIVULET on Monday afternoon I was happy to see quite A few table occupied. When my water Sterling came to me table, I asked what dishes were going to guarantee my return. He suggested several items, and we settled on the Ruby Ruben with the mushroom and coconut water soup. Both were A plus. The mushroom soup prepared by the owner Roy was the very best and unique. The house made corn beef and scratch Russian Sauce was worthy of a 5 star restaurant. I will be back!!! R. Wiggins

Had the bang bang shrimp, liked the sauce but couscous could have been better seasoned (maybe add cilantro?), tastes plain. Great presentation. Someone at the table had the casual burger on pretzel bun said the bun was well toasted and burger was juicy and flavorful.

We absolutely love this place!! Fabulous food and sauces; the soup is always delicious and unique! Husband loves the fig crostini; fantastic cerviche special with this thin fabulous grilled bread (I forget what it's called) Tuna is fresh and seared perfectly. We've been so many times and have loved every dish we have had! Cocktails and wine selection are great! They also have outside seating with TVs!!All the staff are very attentive and knowledgeable. Chef Roeh (Roy) is very impressive with his unique combinations of flavors! What a treat for Boerne! And they're open on Monday!!! Yay!

We had reservations for 4 at 6:15 p on New Year's Day. The server was great and the food was very good. What I did not appreciate was the flipping lights starting at 7:30 to let customers know they needed to finish their meals and head for the door because they closed at 8:00. My friends ordered a brownie dessert and it came missing 2 of the toppings. The server made some excuse, I didn't hear it, but for the price of desserts these days, I would expect the server to let the customer know BEFORE serving the item that the kitchen was missing toppings that are a feature of the dish. I did not pay the bill so I don't know if the dessert was comp'ed or not?I would try Rivulet again, but if I ever have a similar experience, I'll find another quaint spot to spend my money.
