efficient service 2 drive thru lanes and always good food. They do run out of barbacoa after many lbs of it being sold. Get the special, for under $20 you get tortillas de maiz, 4 Oz Chile, all meat barbacoa and the regular tamales are tasty. Tamales could use more meat though. They have Big Red in the mega bottle so hope you're thirsty. They have several locations but I can only vouch for this one.

Great barbacoa and their menudo is good as well. Not a long wait if you park and go inside. I also like their chicharons. So glad this place is near my home , it is our Sunday morning ritual.

Beware check your order before you leave. Owner said that they're to busy to listen to complaints and better things to do. Lost a customer for life. This is San Antonio after all and there are better barbacoa places that can get orders right.

Could've included the rest of the stuff I ordered or at least sliced up the avocado. What a joke.

Where to begin. The Barbacoa was very bland. The salsa was so watery it made my tortilla soggy plus it had no flavor either. Also for as much as they charge per pound they should provide a free side of lime, diced onion, and chopped cilantro. Im visiting from South Texas so maybe my standards are high but Rios #8 is not where it's at in SA.

Have always liked the all meat barbacoa from here. Whether with flour or corn tortillas it's good! Add hot sauce and your set.

This place used to have great Tamales but they have gone downhill since about a year ago. The masa tastes rancid and they hardly have any meat in them. The barbacoa Is good but save your money and don't buy tamales from this location. I'm not sure if their other locations are the same. Great people who work there, though. I hate to place this kind of review but for the price of the tamales, I felt jipped.
