We stopped in because of reviews we saw on FB over a year ago. Now I don't know if this place has changed hands since then, but please don't waste your time or money. It was such a bad experience all around that I was in shock that people could even serve food in the shape that it was let alone behave the way they did when informed of how terrible the food was.The food was literally inedible, salads had brown wilted lettuce with slimey melting diced tomatoes, the rice was clearly days old and rewarmed & mushy, the chicken swarma wasn't even swarma it was large square chunks of over seasoned, overly salty & just pure grossness. The service was terrible they left us sitting in the dark dinning room where their children were watching YouTube videos loudly & they were very short & rude with us when we asked questions & asked for water, which by the way they do not serve or have. When we asked for a refund after literally Not touching our salads because we were terrified by the looks of them & taking 2 bites of our main meals leaving full plates behind, they told us No because they already made the food (which by the way we waited for about 20-30 min for). I'm not usually one to complain but this place really dropped the ball & after spending over $40 dollars of our hard earned money to receive something so inedible I thought I needed to warn others so that they don't waste their time or money on this straight up vile food.

We enjoyed our visit to Radad Grill, located on Vance Jackson, just down the street from La Fogata.Tonight, they were getting ready for a party, but were able to take care of us before it started. You order at the counter and they make the food and then bring it to you. They do not sell beer and wine, but you are welcome to bring your own. You might want to bring your own glasses unless you don't mind Styrofoam cups. They make some incredible Naan. Hot from the oven. As good as Pasha used to be. We ordered Baba Ghanoush and Hummus to dip with. The hummus was so creamy. My wife enjoyed the mixed Shawarma plate while I had the gyro plate. The basmati on the Shawarma plate was very good. The seasoning on the chicken was very good. I liked the salad on the gyro plate, but the fires seemed out of place. Perhaps rice would be a better compliment. The pita served with the gyro meat was very fresh. I just wish the gyro meat was freshly cut off the gyrokone, but understand this small restaurant doesn't do the volume of business to afford one. The tzatziki appeared to be freshly made and very flavorful. Other restaurants cheat and use sour cream instead of yogurt. We let the owner know we heard her call for business and wanted to support a small business. She said business was going well until the current conflict in the Middle East and then business fell off. Why do people have to be like that? Haifa Radad and her staff and family have nothing to do with that. We need to support our small businesses, even those built by immigrants that are working hard every day to earn an honest living while feeding us with great food.

Was in the mood for Mediterranean and this place was highly recommended. It absolutely delivered! A small, family-owned, local business in a quiet, low-traffic area, this unassuming restaurant delivers some of the BEST Mediterranean food I have ever had! Generous portions at extremely fair prices, you must visit this spot for kebabs, shawarma, and gyro! The plates are beautiful and filling and bursting with flavor. The restaurant is humble and the service is very attentive and kind. You order at the counter and pay, then sit anywhere and they will bring out everything to you.FOOD RATINGS:- Warm pita and olive oil dip (5/5): A complimentary starter that really gets your tastebuds buzzing. The olive oil has feta cheese and herbs in it and it's such a simple yet delicious appetizer.- Mixed grilled plate (5/5): A super popular dish serving you 3 different kebabs - beef, chicken, and lamb. The chicken was probably my favorite, but all 3 meats were tender, juicy, and flavorful. Love that it comes with rice, hummus, and the cucumber tomato salad. - Mixed shawarma plate (5/5): All of the meat was so tender and incredibly rich with flavor. So, so, SO good!!! The rice and cucumber and tomato salad and hummus were just as flavorful and really rounded out the plate.- Gyro sandwich (5/5): Stuffed generously with meat and served with a delicious tzatziki sauce and side salad. This was warm and delicious and comforting!

Mom & Pop restaurant! Casual atmosphere, good service. Ay but the food is absolutely amazing! I hope y'all are able to try this place. The hummus fresh. Bread you can hear the kneading & slapping out the bread so fresh still rises on your plate. Beef kabobs spices right, & hot. Rice was just as impressive. I consumed everything on my plate. Usually I don't eat every thing.

Warning I came to this restaurant as an Uber driver late at night. The service at this restaurant is DISGUSTING.The workers are two very small framed girls and they both looked really unkept from their frizzy loose hair and their heavily stained clothes, one of which did not even have her pants buttoned. The worst service and the worst bad attitude-ridden employees. This place is a nightmare.I pulled up to the address and NO WHERE on the building or the door had the name of the restaurant that was on the order. It only had a sign that read RADAD GRILL.Apparently, this restaurant has three names:1. RADAD GRILL2. HOUSE OF PASTA3. HOUSE OF CHINA WOKSince I was confused by not seeing the name of the restaurant, I called them to confirm their location. The employee who answered sounded like a teen. I advised that I couldn't find their restaurant name "House of China Wok" and that I was outside of "RADAD GRILL" (both are listed on Uber Eats app with the same address) to which she replied "SO?" I replied "what do you mean so? I'm telling you I'm trying to find the sign that says House of China Wok and I do not see it. Then, silence. I said "hello" and she replied "We ARE House of China Wok" I responded "You could have said that from the beginning" then again, silence. She didn't hang up the phone. She just left me talking to myself.I go inside and walked in on a disheveled looking girl holding back a sarcastic smirk. Since that person who answered the phone didn't hang up the line I walked in and asked this girl if that was her on the phone and she smiled she saying "No, that wasn't me". I then told her that her service from the start is extremely rude and uncalled for - I added that she could've been helpful by telling me they are technically operating as 3 restaurants in one. I also told her that since there isn't a sign posted with the restaurant's three names, it's a waste of time calling them to confirm because they answer with attitude and start the whole interaction by playing games. At this point I'm asking for a manager then another small, angry looking girl walks in from the kitchen area with her face expressing disdain. She walks over and says she's the manager. I told this second girl who claims to be the manager that her employee was rude and I told her they should have a sign outside with all the names of the restaurants they are claiming to be to help make Uber employees lives easier so we don't have to call them just to be ridiculed. She replied with taking the food and pushing it away (refusing service) and told me to "you're the one doing Uber, so".. to which I replied "it shouldn't matter whether I'm working through Uber. What matters is your attitude and the fact that the restaurant doesn't have a clear sign to help people find them. Then she responded with "get the f**k out of my store."To top it all off, this place smelled RANCID.I reported the interaction and the verbal (profanity) issue with Uber.I WILL BE CONTACTING SAN ANTONIO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. Pictures posted are from the Uber Eats app since Google does not have these other names listed. Different names, same address.

Very good! Checked this place out after seeing the rave reviews and a plea to help the owner who was struggling to keep the doors open. Great choice! We each opted for the mixed grill so we could try a bit of everything. Perfectly cooked and seasoned kabobs (3 kinds), a side of some of the best hummus we've ever had, and a delicious salad similar to Shirazi but better than any Shirazi we've tried in the city. So good!! The pita was fresh, hot, with the perfect amount of crispy and pillowy goodness. The olive oil provided for dipping contained some herbs and feta crumbles, and it was a great accompaniment to the pita. The baklava looked delicious but, we were so full,we skipped it. Big regrets!Prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. The interior is an unusual shape, and there's definitely room for a few more tables. If you're ever in the area- Vance Jackson, just a few doors down from La Fogata, definitely give this place a try!,

Tried the gyro wrap and was really impressed! The ingredients were fresh and delicious, and the wrap was large, much bigger than what I expected.I order Mediterranean frequently and, to be honest, was a little unsure about whether a place with American and Italian food also would be up to par. Sometimes places with multiple food categories and 60 items on their menu just end up microwaving your order. Radad Grill, though, was even better than what I've come to expect from any solid restaurant. Really tasty and very satisfying.

I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS ZERO STARSI am from California and I'm so disappointed.***FOOD IS DISGUSTING***1 child at the front taking orders, 1 man and a little child in the kitchen. terrible customer service, FILTHY FLOORS. Hair balls. Crumbs. In the main dining room there was a long table with a printer a laptop and miscellaneous things one does not want to see in a dining area .***FOOD IS DISGUSTING***Whilst waiting for our food we heard the staff ask each other how long the food should be cooked!!!!!! Certainly something someone doesn't want to hear at the establishment they chosen Waited from 4:14 PM - 4:50 PM brought the food back home and spit it right back out.Sesame chicken was so hard and over cooked. The sesame seeds didn't even taste like sesame seeds! More like bird feed!!! The white rice was some kind of combination of basmati and white rice but burnt it was burnt and sticky all at once.Oh man the chicken shawarma... it was like a soggy tortilla YES, TORTILLA ..that had chicken chunks and pieces of little red onion. Inedible. No tzatziki sauce. This place should be completely shut down. Went in for Mediterranean and they had Chinese food, pizza, panini, WHO EVEN KNOWS WHAT THIS PLACE IS SUPPOSED TO BE OTHER THEN CONDEMNED!!!!!
