We met here for a family get together as my cousins were in town from another state. It was a couple weeks ago, on a weekday. The place was more than 1/2 empty. Really good day & time to gather. Family drank a few beers, and sodas. I don't drink but had water. We were taken care of and the place looks nice and clean. Not really sure what it would look like on a weekend. I recommend based on what I saw and my experience based on a rather empty place during a Monday weekday. No one ordered food. The service was good.

I had so much fun here. I went with a group of friends. We got there around 10:30 and had to park down the side street. We walked in not knowing what to expect but we had a BLAST!! There is one huge room when you walk in with TVs and pool tables then next to that there is another room and that's where the magic happens. DJ was amazing. He played so many great songs. It was super easy to order drinks at the bar and the girls were super sweet. The dance floor is kinda small but we managed to dance the night away. There is a taco truck across the street and it was so good to. I wish I had the name of it but trust me... it's good and fresh. If you want to listen to some cumbias and old school music this is the place to be. I will definitely be returning to dance another night away.

We went for the 1st time and it was fun. The music was awesome!! We danced and danced!! We could order food from somewhere else and have it delivered. Outside food is welcomed!! The drinks were good and security was present (which is good). I would definitely go back.

Overcrowded. Have no courtesy for neighbors there been petitions to close it no reason for Music to be blasting after 10 can still hear Music and Dj in my bedroom as i try to sleep and I live block and a halfNo respect

I've been to this place several times and I always have 15-25 people with me. I schedule outings for my fitness group friends and I. We have always had a great time, but unfortunately I don't think we'll be back. I reserved a couple of tables over the phone for 10/22 and paid $62. I had to cancel the reservation because my knee replacement surgery was scheduled for an earlier date than expected. I called R&Js on 10/14 and was told by the woman who answered that she couldn't process returns and to call after 8pm and speak to the manager Angel. I tried calling at 10:15pm and no answer. Then again at 10:30 and I couldn't hear because of the loud music so I hung up. I called again on 10/15 and was able to speak to Angel. He told me they don't do refunds because while the table is reserved, they can't reserve it to someone else. I reminded him that there was a week left so they could likely get it reserved in that time, but his response was "in the 2 years I've been managing this place we've never done a refund for reservations". I also advised him that I was never told there were no refunds on reservations, but that didn't matter apparently. I completely understand them keeping some of it as a deposit as that is customary for reservations, but not keeping the whole thing, especially without a written or verbal agreement. I asked to speak to the owner, but he would not give me his info. The most he would give me was his first name, Joe. He said he would speak to Joe and call me back on 10/16 and well, it's now 10/21 and still no call. It's really unfortunate that they do business this way because I would of liked to go back again in a few months after my surgery. Joe, if you read this, I would appreciate you contacting me. Neighborhood full bar with 2 large sections (one for pool/tv watching & other for dancing/dj/live music), cold beers, great service and an added bonus of having a nice large elevated dance floor. Everything is themed outback country style as you look around at the bar decor and the signage. It is a space / bar large enough where it never really felt it was packed or overcrowded even when each table was occupied by friends/family hanging out and drinking. On a Saturday they had a DJ that was playing everything - country, reggaton, hip-hop, tejano, cumbias, pop, etc. Each bar had a bartender ready to take your order. There was also waitresses keeping up with everyone sitting around the dance floor in the 2nd room. Beers sold in buckets (your choice of a 6 or 8 beer size) and individually. They had local vodka (Titos & Deep Eddy) which impressed me as when I asked for my shots to be made with the local vodka it was $5 a shot. Call drinks were $6 for doubles. Not bad!Looking around the table tops I noticed many people brought in their own food in party trays and even cakes for those celebrating their birthday there. You can reserve a spot or table tops ($25 which includes a free bucket of beers) in advance by calling them but they do need 24 hour notice. They do a really great job of updating their Facebook page so it's worth checking out before you go to see what specials or events are happening the night you plan on going to.Parking didn't seem like an issue but we walked from the neighborhood behind the bar. Taco truck across the street is rumored to be pretty awesome too and inexpensive.

I've been coming here since before Covid & love the place ! Especially for a small country bar on the southside! Love DJ Chris on Saturday nights & missing some of the old bartenders but new ones are good too! If you haven't been check it out, jst needs a bigger dance floor now that it has expanded! Lol so consider that management!Over all love it!

Stopped in for a margarita..it was OK, nothing special. Sound system needs some real help..lots of thumping going on..are speakers blown? Think I'll leave after this drink..sounds of music is shoddy..hurting my ears!

Absolutely not a good place! Decided to go here for my 21st & was caught off guard when the 'manager' of the place threw an older man on the ground just because he wandered onto the other side. He apologized & stated he didnt know that the other side wasn't open but the manager was a complete asshole. He didn't even try to talk to him, just decided to throw him on the ground. We didn't even finish our drinks because it just sucked to witness a shitty human being like him. Never going back & you shouldn't either!
