So we took a day trip out to Kirby, before heading back to San Antonio we wanted to grab a bit to eat. There were a bunch of main named places around, but we like to always look for something a little special. Quik Wok is located in a little convenient store, but don't let that fool you.The staff is really sweet and helpful. The gentleman at the counter helped us to order and the lady with him as well helped us with any questions we had. It's not a common thing I would say to eat right there in the spot but you can. The food can be ordered for pick up or delivery through Door Dash. Which I thought was pretty cool. There were so many options and the food was made amazingly.

The general Tao chicken didn't taste like chicken at all. The beef and snow peas had no flavor and no snow peas. The shrimp lo mein was decent. The "crab ragoon" was not as expected. The egg roll was good once it was covered in ketchup. The only way my kids would eat the food was if the ketchup covered everything and added flavor of ketchup. It was just a let down overall.

Food was ok but not great. Read my comments on each photo. Oh wait. I'm supposed to type it here! Lol. Combo fried rice was greasy but nice flavor. Hot & Sour soup was neither hot nor sour nor flavorful. Pass. Twice cooked pork was tasty but greasy and A LOT of green bell peppers and carrots. I like veggies but not a whole bell pepper in my dish. By far the worst was the orange chicken! It was Bright Food-Dye RED. Why? The breading was soft, moist, mushy. No, thank you.

This place serves the grossest egg foo Yung I have ever eaten. The gravy was WAY too sweet and the egg was greasy. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER again. I ordered it delivered. This food is just plain NASTY.

I probably shouldn't knock off stars for this, being in a gas station, but the food I received just deserves it. Mongolian beef. I know there's no standard recipe for Mongolian beef, I've seen it with carrots, breaded beef, and a sweet soy based sauce. Always with onions, no matter the method. Until this order. So much celery. So much in fact the beef has taken on the celery flavor, almost masked behind the red chilies added for heat. And it was swimming in its juices. Some is ok. So much the bottom of the bag is covered and everything soaked does not make for a good start. Fried rice. The flavor seems to be mostly soy. There's alfalfa but that will never add flavor to rice. No other vegetables. Honesty it's soy flavor with intermittent pieces of pork. The pork was probably added last and didn't have time to get tainted by the soy. I'll say though the order was ready on time, food hot and my interaction with the staff was friendly.

Good Chinese food when you're just at home watching movies chilling being lazy lol.. other than that if you're actually having time to go out to get real Chinese I'd rather do that! I will admit they are always nice when you go pick up the order, I always leave a tip even when I'm not sitting down in there to eat at their little small seating area.

We had the Lo Mein beef, fried rice, white rice, General Tso, and vegetables egg rolls. We've gotten food from here and haven't had 1 bad experience out of the 4-5 order take out. Accurate on estimate time for delivery. Tipped 3-5 times.

10/10 they were fabulous!! Omg , i asked for wonton strips on the side for my meal and they included extra. All my food was fresh and warm. Packed perfectly. Tasted amazing. Thank you so much, y'all made my day and Halloween!
