Quick Snacks #2

Solid spot to satisfy cravings. I'd probably ask for no gummie bears in the picadilly next time, mainly cause I'm personally not a fan. Lots of tables under a roof to wait for your order as well as indoor seating. Would definitely come back to try more items on the menu.

Are they quick? No. Do they offer a bunch of amazing Mexican treats from mangonadas, snowcones, pickledillys, special candies, fresh fruit, aguas frescas and tons of treats? YES. While we were eating next door at La Unica, I kept seeing people walk by with the most amazing treats! Our server said to go next door for dessert and we did. Watermelon aguas frescas did not disappoint. Mangonada dilly with pickles, chamoy and gummy bears was insane. And a friend had the Bionico which was fresh fruit and cream. There is an outside are but also a small air conditioned area too. We will be back. I need a good snow one.

So my husband and I normally reserve our treats going up to Brooks to be coffee from a green lady in the sky since we do not have one south where we are, but today I wanted to be adventurous and am super glad we were. We had driven past Quick Snacks and referred to it as the menu building, so finding it was not hard at all. We pulled into the parking lot and followed the menu around to the window where we had to narrow down from everything on the menu to two items. We narrowed it down to the cucumber shaved ice ( different than their snow cones which are made with crunchy ice but should not be missed. the cucumber shaved ice had little bits of cucumbers and had such a fresh flavor), and the three dollar fruit cup with chile and lime ( we opted for ALL the fruits and loved that there were large chunks of fresh coconut included). We will be returning, often this summer.

Best snack spot in town!! It's so good I usually order the whole menu everytime we go! My favorite things are the fruit cups, hot Cheetos and cheese and the ice cream!! Heads up!! It's cash only so make sure to stop on the way. I did see an atm inside the table area, but I haven't used it yet. Pro tip: they have a large fruit bowl for $18 and I take that to all the parties I go to! It's awesome and yummy!

We went here for the beautiful mangonadas but ended up finding the BEST cup of corn in San Antonio. Absolutely not a joke, I get a corn after work once a week. Idk what they put in their corn but it's better than anyone else's! Nacho would have never wasted THIS corn!

The Chango snow cone I got was just what I was craving. I drove all the way from San Marcos to get one.

The real reason I stop is because of their fruit cups. I really can't compare them because this is the only place I have been. I had their fruit cups once and I was hooked. Their customer service is very good so there is no reason to go anywhere else.

Their agua frescas are delicious. Wait time will vary based on time of day, which can exceed a 20 min wait. However, I feel it's worth the wait. The outside area is covered which is a plus. No standing in the hot sun.

Nothing quick about this place! Took over 30 minutes for a bowl of fruit, wrapped ice cream, and a drink!
