Place wasn't open. :( I guess they don't like to stick to their hours. :( I was looking forward to trying them out, but I probably won't go back for a second chance.

The best pupusas I've had in San Antonio so far. They have a very limited menu. I had the pupusas revueltas. Very tasty and perfect ratio of filling to masa. They only take cash, no cards. Highly recommend if you are looking for pupusas!

This pupuseria is next to a tire shop. This is not a restaurant, but a food truck. My mother-in-law and wife were craving pupusas, but being new to San Antonio, we did not know the in and outs of pupuserias and so we decided on Pupusas Machado. When we arrived, we expected a restaurant, but found a food truck. Sadly, this is only to go as there is no seating to eat there. The pupusas were a lot smaller than we hard originally expected coming from California and having a regular spot that always gave us oversized pupusas. But don't let the small size fool you, the recipe they had was awesome! Their curtido (pickled salad) was arguably the best I've had yet!The hours are indeed weird, as it opens from 6pm to 1am. There is not really a parking spot while waiting for the food, but you can park in front of the food truck/cart. During the earlier times, this can be a busy street, so be mindful as you may miss the entrance. I would suggest calling to place an order, as larger orders may take longer to cook. This is for sure our go to pupuseria!

This place is great! Honestly made me reminisce about Cali tacos. The worker was very sweet as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Definitely overpriced! $4 + for a one normal to small size Pupusas. No Horchata? The taste of them are ok. Not the greatest in taste. Only cash so be aware. I think this place needs to overlook their price for them otherwise I would be coming to get Pupusas a lot because San Antonio is very limited. I give it a two star. Their hours are never the same, they are open randomly and late in the evenings. Very inconsistent.

The chicharrón Pupusa had very little chicharrón if any. So $5 for a basically cheese pupusa is very over priced. Also insists in only accepting cash.

The food was good but a bit overpriced. Total came out to be 17$ for 4 pupusas, that is 4.25 per pupusa, you can find cheaper elsewhere.
