Pompeii Italian Grill

This is a ostentatious location that is more than just a pretty place. While the ambiance echoes of ancient Italian Rome, the food is the star of the show. We started off with the meatball appetizer, and it was just right, nice dense mearballs that tasted as if they saw some grill time before being smothered in marinara. The marinara was textbook, too. Just thick enough that tasted of garlic, herbs, and tomato. The bread which accompaied it was soft and easy to break apart. It was perfect for mopping up marinara I ordered the grilled Italian sausage for my main, amd my girlfriend chose the baked ravioli. Their sausage is some of the best I've had in town. The grilled peppers and onions which joined those sausages were perfectly cooked, too. My girfriend chose the baked ravioli. That same wonderful marinara was also on that pasta along with mozzarella. The raviloli were little pasta pillows: perfectly al dente outside and soft goodness inside. I will defintely return. I want to try their pasta dishes, and their veal piccata. I wonder if they would allow ne to bring a bottle of wime for a corkage fee?

I have no idea why this place has such good reviews.The pizza is frozen-aisle standard for luxury prices. Pasta is not much better. Kids meal is clearly from a can.Was looking forward to this place, but it is just not worth the price.

My friend, Donna, and I planned to meet up and catch up. We decided on lunch Sunday @pompeii_grill. Their menu mirrored another Italian restaurant very closely. Complimentary bread and dip were served. I had the Shrimp Scampi and a house salad with Italian dressing. Donna had the Chicken Piccata with shrimp. Portions are very generous and we surely had leftovers for another meal. Donna had been here several times before and today was my first visit. Overall, a good experience. If you're on the northeast side of town, check them out!

The location was unexpected for an Italian restaurant so good. Everything from the drinks to the food was delicious and full of flavor. The have a secret 7 spice seasoning that I added to all their food because it was that good. The server took a while to open up so it was weird asking questions but towards the end he got comfortable enough to laugh and joke with. I recommend trying their strawberry mojito, it was delicious

This restaurant is delicious. The food definitely has the feel of the chef really went out of his way to make it unique, authentic and delicious. I would say customer service is probably not the number one feature they have so if you're going for great customer service.Ugh hmmm I might have to recommend a different location however it's funny that whenever the meal was done, the drinks were finished and it was time to pay. The server became more friendly, kind and attentive. As far as the ambience. Well, it's calm it's elegant. It's a nice after Sunday church place to go. I don't know if I would recommend it as a romantic dinner or your every day. Hang out, but it's OK.

The perfect date night spot! Or even a family night out or with a friend. The food is so good! Lots of menu options for dinner and plenty of desserts to choose from. The portions are large! They also have a drink menu: plenty of wine, cocktails and beer. A singer serenaded us throughout the dinner! It's not upscale but you could dress up here. Or you could come casual (would not recommend Athleisure wear). The shrimp scampi was my meal. I loved that I could taste garlic, shallots and spice in every bite! My husband had the linguini di mar! The sauce was excellent and there was a variety of seafood! The bread that is complimentary felt like heaven. It was so soft and warm. The oil with garlic and basil (I think) made every bite complete. Next time I'll try the lobster ravioli for fun!

Ok. Hear me out. The food was alright. Food alone, I'd probably give 2 stars. However, the service was out of this world. I reserved the small room for $50 and it fits 40ish people comfortably. SETH was our server... for 40ish people, with 6 separate tickets, 6 loud, crazy kids... and Seth was an absolute gem. He was funny, kind, helpful... ah. maz. ing. I'd only go back if he was my server. He was also very young. You can tell his parents raised him right.

We had my son's and his bride to be rehearsal dinner there. The servers were amazing!!! Food and room were wonderful!!! They made it a perfect night!

I am currently here, haven't even finished my food yet and this place deserves 100/10 stars. This is the best place I've ever been to and the food is so good. I'm only halfway through and I definitely recommend this place

This is a nice clean environment with great service & plenty of parking. I ordered the grilled salmon and a side salad. The bread was good but I knew I was chewing on dough when we got to the middle of the roll. The side salad was just Romain lettuce and what appeared to be one olive sized tomato cut into quarters. The grilled salmon came with plain pasta. No other slivers of vegetables. The chocolate cake was rich and tasty.
