Food comes out hot and fresh every time. Rice is soft and beans are full of flavor. Menu is so reasonably priced you can't beat it here. Service was fast. Plenty of seating and not cramped up on other patrons.

I visited here with my colleague since it was very close to my hotel on a recent business trip. This restaurant also has the best reviews in the area. My colleague wasn't super thrilled about eating chicken so he ordered the diced sirloin with bacon as his meat. Surprisingly, this was one of his favorite restaurants during our entire trip.For 1 person, the half chicken is around 11 with beans and you get tons of food you can make into tacos. The chicken is well seasoned, not dry, and partially cut up for you already. Overall, a great deal! The beans are really good, as is their famous green sauce which goes well on pretty much everything you'll order.My colleague loved his meal and said the bacon made it just that much better.Service is fast and excellent here as they have several employees to stop by and check on your table.I would definitely return if I am ever in the area again.

Was on a work trip to San Antonio and our group was looking for Mexican food that day and we stumbled across Pollo Asados and visited. Kind of a cool decor inside which feels very authentic. The staff was super friendly and helpful in describing the menu options. The food was even better as we did the Fajitas for two and a Half Chicken and ate family style among the 3 of us. I really enjoyed this place and would definitely return if given the chance.

It's incredible how many chickens are being grilled at once... it's even more insane on how good it is every time!! There's not much waiting once you sit down and order, the food is out fast. My highlight is definitely the avocado salsa... I could drink that stuff.

The chicken was out of this world! So tender and great flavor. The service is friendly and very fast. The place was packed but we barely had to wait for our food. I highly recommend this place!!

Perfection! Pollos Asados Los Nortenos is an absolute gem. Genuine smoked chicken that is juicy, full of flavor and a home run every single time! Smoked/roasted with mesquite, the family owned restaurant consistently is great. The charro beans are full of flavor as well and an excellent side, as are the roasted peppers and onions. The green sauce shines through everything with amazing flavor. The service is always friendly and efficient and the homestyle family run place is always welcoming.

You can tell just by walking to the restaurant that it was going to be amazing!!!! It smelled so delicious from the outside and the food was extremely delicious So much flavor!!! The people there were so kind and welcoming as you walked in. Their servers and manager were very attentive to their customers. For it being my first time, I won't be my last!! Next time I'm up in San Antonio, I will definitely be back!!!

My dad always brings this home when he has time from work to stop by this delicious establishment. The flavors of this chicken are not to be underestimated. It isn't your typical chicken restaurant, they have much more to offer not only with flavors but with how you order. For example, if you're in the mood for a burger they got it! I've only been in this establishment once but I had a joyful time seeing the chicken being prepped in a clear window. The workers were very polite and efficient. I would say the quickness of the food was tremendous for how much we ordered, since we were feeding a family of 4. The atmosphere of this place felt very friendly and like a genuine family business. Definitely check out this amazing restaurant if you're ever around this area!

We were looking for a new local place for dinner for 9 and decided we'd give it a shot.The outside and inside are nothing to write home about, but don't be fooled by that.Their menu is very simple - meat (chicken, sausage with bacon. Fajita and two other types. Rice, charro beans, pico, corn tortillas, guacamole. Very simple.We ordered two of the grande dinner, each of which easily feeds 4. We ordered the fajita and the other meat. Each came with a whole chicken (cut-up), 8 corn tortillas, 4 orders of rice; 4 orders or charro beans, pico, and amazing green sauce. The meats had an amazing flavor - all of them! Perfectly seasoned and prepared. Everything was great! The sausage with bacon was unique and very good.I'm not a big Mexican rice guy - usually just a filler without much taste. This rice was very flavorful and I ate my whole serving. The beans had a great flavor and I ate all of them.I'm a flour tortilla guy - but they only have corn, so I wasn't thrilled - but the corn tortillas were very soft and moist and the flavor was good but not overpowering!The green sauce was really good! I'm a red sauce guy but they only have green sauce. I was admittedly initially disappointed - but that green sauce was truly amazing.The staff were all friendly and attentive. We will absolutely go back again now that we've found this hidden gem!!

Excellente! The half chicken tasted delicious and the rice & beans were great as well. Service was with a smile and the food came extremely fast.Highly recommend!
