Pollos Asados Don Jose

Great price to feed a family! Full chicken with rice and beans is $13, and they are well-flavored and nicely cooked. This is a food truck in the far corner of the Arlan's parking lot, so it's to-go orders only, but they will even help you to your car if you have a large order! There are many places around town that do Pollo's Asados, so it's hard to right then higher than positive, but the price is good!My Yelp rating system:5 stars= Driving across town just for this!4 stars= I would recommend visiting.3 stars= Average, acceptable, positive.2 stars= You might be able to drag me in. 1 star= I will definitely not be returning.

Went there about two weeks ago got seated right away . I would have given it more stars if our food didn't take 30 minutes to come out ,someone next to us got their food within 15 minutes and they arrived after us . I didn't get much of the actual beans with my chicken order it was more like juice and rice was a bit undercook . I also ordered fajitas which were good. I asked our waitress if food takes longer because of the fajitas and she said yes , so that's that . Willing to give it another try later .

Just ate at this place with my family and this wad the worse service I have ever encountered. We ordered half a chicken rice been and 2 burgers. It took them 25 almost 30 mins to get our food. After being told that our order was made to go by accident6 , it still took an additional 10 mins to bring out. When I asked to speak to the manager, the waitress said she could give the owner the message. I do not blame the waitress but thr owner didnt even come and speak with us to see how they could nake things right . I was not looking for free food but a discount would of been the least they could of done. 3 other parties were served before us. We will not bring our business back and I will share with friends and family. Good customer service goes a long way.

Went to the Pleasanton rd. location. Chicken is delicious as is everything else. Just the way it needs to be. this was the 2nd visit. Wait staff have a tendency to not want to speak English. So be aware. They also didn't have unsweetened Tea on this visit, a big negative in my book. They lost a star for that one.

Chicken was good, just a notch under Pollo Asado Norteños. We were seated, but the waitress told us after we got our drinks that it would be 20min because the chicken was still cooking. They've only been open for 2 months so they are still perfecting things. We will try it again.

Found this food truck last night but off S Flores not Pleasanton Rd, guess they moved. Great prices - $14 for whole chicken with sides except beans and $8 for half chicken. Chicken and rice were great! Same flavor as Pollos Asados Del Norteño that is temporarily closed on Rigsby. The green sauce was delicious! Reminded me of that awesome restaurant on Rigby. They were out of beans so we weren't able to taste those. I'd recommend this place if you loved Pollos Asados Del Norteño at least until they open.
