Pollo Pepe

We absolutely love Pollo Pepe. We routinely order the 8 piece family pack with a side of macaroni salad and then add 5 pc chicken flautas from time to time. The chicken is delicious and perfectly cooked consistently. My wife cannot get enough of the macaroni salad and I'll be honest, it is tasty. We've previously had a side of beans as well and those always hit the spot. For me, the chicken flautas are terrific with a crispy exterior and that chicken finishing off your bite of food. Overall, great food and consistent quality makes this a place to visit any time.

One of my favorite spots on the Rittiman block! It's an exquisite experience of flavorful food. I normally grab the Flautas preparadas and wash it down with a Coke de Mexico! Sometimes I'll add the Tajin chicken too if I have someone Grubbin with me. Everything I've had on the menu is very scrumptious and a unique flavor here in town! The customer service far exceeds any other fast food places around these parts. Even the manager isn't too busy to say hi and ask how everything was during your visit. Highly recommend stopping in if you haven't yet. Get some Flautas and chicken!! Place is one of kind in SA, Texas and even the good ol USA!!

Decided to check out Pollo Pepe for lunch today, and I must say, they truly lived up to the hype. The grilled chicken was cooked to absolute perfection, boasting a delicious flavor that left me thoroughly impressed. And let's not forget about the charro beans - they were simply outstanding!

Great chicken, great green sauce, amazing corn tortillas, decent charro beans. A little on the expensive side but Tuesdays you get free half chicken with family meal purchase.

Nice little fast food place! It's been in the work for a while so I was excited to try them when they opened. I was not disappointed. Clean and modern fast food dining with a simple chicken menu. I was torn between the chicken and the flautas but decided on the chicken Pollo Pépe after all! The chicken was juicy and tender unlike some other chains. Tortilla chips were crisp and the salsa had just the right amount of heat! I also had some freshly made potato chips, which honestly, were a little limp. In the future, I would hope they also make salt shakers available in the dining room. Wide array of bottled Mexican sodas were available as well as fresh horchata and the like. The staff were all incredibly friendly, and the environment was very welcoming and I can't say enough about it. I'll be back for sure.

I drove from the other side of town to try this place. Was it worth it? Hell yes!! Chicken was on point! We got a few sides to go with our family meal. We got beans, flautas, macaroni salad, and coleslaw. The beans, macaroni salad, and coleslaw was soo good! Everything was absolutely delicious! I forgot to snap the photo before digging in but we practically inhaled everything as soon as it came out! Really delicious and I will make the drive out there again anytime!

"Overall, this is a great spot if you're in the mood for healthy 'fast food.' We ordered the 4-piece meal with fries, beans, and rice on the side, and I'd rate the food a solid 4. Everything arrived hot and was nicely seasoned. Personally, I'd prefer the beans without the bacon and hot dog pieces, but that's just my taste. The fries were definitely the standout--crispy and served fresh. Service here is top-notch, easily a 5, with a friendly and attentive team. The facility is clean, including the bathrooms, which met expectations. While the area itself isn't my favorite, this place earns a solid 4 overall.

Pollo Pepe nails it with their chicken. It's juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked every time. The rest of the menu might be hit or miss, but if you're there for the chicken, you won't be disappointed.

This place taste great! Oh yea, I'm a die hard Pollo Norteños fan. I would say it's almost a tie, but here you got more chicken flavors, and the sides are more than alright: super awesome fries . Trust me: give this place a try. The Tajín recipe keeps me coming back.
