Pirates Cove Cafe

This is a real deal small town cafe. Highly recommend. Come for the food! All prepared fresh and served hot, generous portions, reasonable prices. Named for the high school mascot, so lots of local pride. It's quaint and rustic inside, with local art (for sale!) on the walls. Very limited parking. Tables share similar tablecloths, with a variety of chairs. Very clean inside. Folks there friendly and helpful. Served a great juicy burger. Huge omelette, stuffed with meat, cheese, and veg. Outstanding taco; perfect fresh made tortilla, bean/chorizo prepared correctly (perfect ratio and chorizo not burnt) and stuffed. Waffle ok, a bit thin. Potatoes with the omelette cooked well and tasted good, but could have used a bit more color. Quite a menu available, went for breakfast but going back for lunch.Edit: returned for another brekkie, and the tacos are huge and delicious. And they are closed on Saturday.

We love the lunch specials. I also had a really fantastic mushroom Swiss burger. Love it every time we go.

Great decor and surprisingly great lengua tacos! PC's Bistro that is. If this for the kids place next door... oops!

Its a po-boy shop with the actual french bread....how can anything go wrong? Always quick and delicious....i love Pirates Cove.

We tried this place when we first moved here, and what a disappointment. I'm sure they have homemade things but the chicken fried steak and the burgers were obviously cooked from frozen. Nothing was fresh, not even the tortilla chips or the fries. If they went to the trouble of preparing fresh food, we'd have been lifelong customers. And we still live here. Sorry for the review, we really did have high hopes.

I've been going here since I was like two. They're breakfast is pretty good for he prices. I think it's their tacos that probably bring in the most money, they're just down home good breakfast tacos. When I'm in town I have to have breakfast here atleast once.

This place has such a great list of options and they are served hot and tasty. The coffee is great. Breakfast is perfect in every way. They have daily specials and I can't wait to go back for more.

Place to come for breakfast tacos and plates! Service was great the lady even labeled our tacos and although I ordered bacon only tacos they had beans we still ate them! Delicious! Tortillas too burn for my liking and I like them toasted. Overall will come again

Food is great, drinks are great and a very fun atmosphere for families. The tacos are the best and make sure to try the local beers. You can even get a jug to take home if you like it!

I want to say a BIG THANK YOU TO THE SALINAS FAMILY!! Specifically, Jesreal, Erin & Jivanni, ya'll we're so humble and welcoming and saved me from a challenging situation I placed myself in. The beans that were made in bulk from Pirate's Cove were so tasty that people couldn't stop eating them. I will be forever grateful for your kindness.
