Pho 88

Wowowow! Im so surprised these reviews aren't better. I'd been eyeballing this place for a while to try and am so glad I did! I forgot to take pictures because I was starving, but we had the spring rolls and they were obviously freshly made. Loves the peanut sauce that it came with. We both also got two bowls of pho that were SO DELICIOUS. The broth was very flavorful, but not overpowering. We also really enjoyed that it wasn't greasy at all. The protein was perfectly cooked. Over all, I consider this a hidden gem!! We will definitely be back!

Place was pretty empty and we got our food quite fast. The dining area was very clean but did have a that dirty mop water smell. Food came out fast and hot. Both kids enjoyed their food and our waitress was great. She was very attentive. I did notice after we ate that they have an overall health score of 84. Hopefully they can bring that up because their food was delicious.

This place has changed names and possibly owners. Sorriest excuse for a sandwich that literally had 3 small pieces of chicken for nearly $9?!! You got me fuxked up! Couldn't switch it out since I had already bit into it. Switched out for chicken pho which wasn't much better. Skimped on the chicken and the broth wasn't like when I've gotten it when it was Pho Vy. Definitely won't return to this sad establishment.

So ordered shrimp spring rolls, was quite disappointed with the one skimpy shrimp that was sliced in half. I've ordered the beef one in the past & it was a decent serving. Not sure bc they did change management. One top of that the total came out to $5 and change, but told me $6 with cash I guess to round it up but still I thought that was inconsiderate.

Why isn't there a ZERO star option? After a long tiring day at SeaWorld, a group of us decided to come here for dinner. We came in at least 40 minutes prior to closing time. I used to work in the service industry so I understand by this time servers are ready to leave. We were gonna order to go anyways. As soon as we walked in, the rude lady that was working the register yelled out "TO GO ONLY!" Okay, that was fine with us cause we were planning to do so anyways. Another worker walked past her and I heard her said (in Vietnamese) "I told them to go only otherwise we will be here til 10." ARE YOU SERIOUS? As the nice person that I am, I tossed the menu back on the table and on my way out I said "Damn, why you got no manners?" I don't care how good the food is, but learn decent customer service first. Trust all the bad reviews for Pho Vy!

Ordered BEEF STEW with EGG NOODLE. Out of all the hundreds of Pho spots I have ever went to in Cali, all of them had those big blocks of beef. This restaurant however, used THIN STRIPS of beef, the ones they use for regular pho. Disappointing.

This place is a joke. Let's begin with no prices on the menu, no drink menu (sodas from a can), i asked for lemon with my ice water, said he doesn't have lemons. Wanted fried spring roll APPETIZER- but it only comes with one, what the hell. Ordered pho, he didn't know the size difference between a regular and a large. Then when i requested extra limes and basil, he said unfortunately they don't have any basil right now. Uhm how you going to let me order pho and not tell me there is no basil. I got up and walked out. 5 tables of couples and only one server, with AirPods in his ear, so unprofessional. Also holes all over the walls, cover them up and be more professional.

Came here on a lovely Saturday night and I was craving some pho! Came here and it wasn't that lively but I enjoyed it, it was quite and calm. I was seated quickly as well! I got some pho tai with meatballs and though it was tasty I felt like it was missing something. But that could just be me. I got some beef summer rolls and it was very tasty! I also got some spring-rolls which were okay. Overall my experience was nice. I enjoyed this place and the quietness.

So far the best pho we've had since moving to San Antonio!! Noodles are super fresh and soft and the broth is delicious as well. The family working there I'm assuming are the owners are they're all super sweet. If we're ever craving pho, this is our spot!!
