Pete’s Hot Chicken

Tenders are huge, fries are crisp delicious. I love that they sell agua frescas to wash it down (watermelon and horchata on the day I went). I don't tolerate very spicy so well anymore so I had the Lemon Pepper wings since I prefer chicken on the bone. Service was friendly and the wait was moderate considering they were busy on a Friday. The modern building and minimalist decor brightens this up and coming neighborhood. Indoor seating now available.I hope they eventually bring back their fried apple pies and chicken fried steak!

Best chicken tenders are huge and delicious!! The watermelon drink is so refreshing. Highly recommend 10/10. Friendly service.

We stopped by this food truck spot during a road trip in Texas. We had fried chicken and waffles--both were pretty good. The chicken was spicy and crispy, and the waffles were freshly made. The staff were awesome, and the food came out quickly. The spot also has a nice outdoor atmosphere with plenty of tables and other food trucks to explore.

Love this place. I get a dirty bird at medium heat. That does it for me because I can't do all that spicy but they do have waaay more spicy levels. With a fresh Pina Agua Fresca!! Mmmmm my mouth is watering as I write this.

Hands down the BEST Nashville Hot in San Antonio. I try Nashville Hot at every place that offers it, but none even come close to what Pete's provides!!!I highly recommend you check out their new location at 2418 S. Presa. You won't be disappointed.My favorite is the Dirty Bird with Medium seasoning. It has a delicious kick of heat and sweet. Paired with bacon Mac and cheese, French fries and special sauce. Get it to go! That's literally the only downside. The food is amazingggg. The wings, the elote, the agua fresca and the service allll on point. We were having to fight off tons of flies so get this deliciousness to go.

FOOD IS BUSSIN YOOOOO!!!!! Let me start with the drink it was fresh sweet and big! It's a perfect refresher when munching down on the sweet spicy chicken! THE DIRTY BIRD!!!! A must get if you like a mixture of fries, chicken and mac and cheese! The chicken seasoning was a mild but it still had some very good flavor! The mac & cheese was cheesy and creamy with a large portions! The chicken tenders are FREAKING HUGE!! We got the medium level the tenders were moist and perfectly seasoned it comes with 2 slices of bread and pickles.The service was quick and easy you need to order at the truck and wait your turn for the meal. They have a nice lil spot well shaded and good amount of seating. I very much enjoy my time there and I will be coming back i definitely recommend this chicken joint!!!

Good flavor! So glad we visited this place and tried their chicken and waffle. Food came out hot and fresh. Size is good enough to share for 2. The cook was nice and overall a good vibe for Spring/Summer/Fall.

Had the dirty bird and a chicken sandwich. Both huge servings! The food was good, Mac and cheese was a bit bland but everything else had good flavor. Only downside is that it is only outdoor seating so it does get really hot.
