I love Pei Wei. I know it's fast food and not the most authentic, but it is good. The servings are always huge, the flavor is always there, and it is fast. I go to Pei Wei at least every other week, so when I saw they opened one near my home, I was super excited. This is brand new and it shows. The restaurant is spacious and clean. They have a few little extras that I haven't ever seen at other Pei Wei's like the kids chopstick the hot mustard. I ordered the Kung Pao shrimp this time. It was hardy. I had leftovers for the next day. I also ordered one spring roll and two crab Rangoons. I do like that now you can order individual portions of spring rolls and crab Rangoon. I always get their mandarin orange green tea. It is not sweet, but this time I think they mixed up the unsweet and sweet teas because it was sweet and it didn't taste like mandarin green tea.The staff member that helped me out was friendly. There's parking available on site, but shared with the other businesses.

This place reminds me of another Asian restaurant chain on the West Coast called "Pick Up Stix.' The menu has the usual Asian restaurant variety to choose from with a side of your choice: rice white/brown, noodles, veggies. It is served in a bowl with your entrée on top. Do not expect another free side like an eggroll or dumpling or soup as it is separate. The price is high; however, the portion size is twice and served hot. Customer service is excellent, and they serve you. You may also leave your utensils at the table after done eating.

You can look at all of my reviews and see that I rarely give out 1 star reviews for places. This food was so gross. The chicken in the chicken and broccoli entree was super rubbery, and the wings had so much fat on them that they were inedible. I got a 12 piece and could only get through 5. The people are nice and the space is pretty, but the food is just awful.

My friends and I go to Pei Wei on Bandera at least once a week. It is our favorite place to meet because the food is consistently delicious, and each entree is made to order especially for you (unlike other places where the food sits in large bowls). My favorite dish is Kung Po Chicken ...the veggies are super crisp and fresh ....and each bite is perfectly seasoned! The lettuce wraps are wonderful....just like PF Chángs. And the portions are HUGE...enough for another meal at home (at reasonable prices). Service and environment are superb...Drew and Christoper are super friendly and attentive. They go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your meal. Both the restaurant and kitchen are sparkling clean. Eating at Pei Wei on Bandera is always a delightful experience !
