Pastries N Chaat

This place is one of my go to Indian restaurants ever since it opened a couple of years ago. The food is always hot, fresh, and on point. The service is always great with a chill ambiance. And the pricing is always great. Recently we got the chicken 65, samosa chaat, and the chicken kati roll. All were delicious. Another time, we also tried the chicken noodles which were really good!

Food and service were decent. We had the vegetable puff, which was a bit dry. No sauce provided for dipping. We also tried the chicken tikka which was good. My biggest complaint was the electric menu which is big and filled with helpful pictures, but also rotates through the options so quickly it gave me a headache trying to read. Having some physical menus available to peruse while waiting in line would be helpful.

Somosa chat is the best!! It's a large serving with delicious seasoning & fresh toppings. My favorite dish on their menu AND it's only $5! I can eat on it for 2 days. Oh! And their coconut ball cookies are out of this world. Their pastries are beautiful - wish I took a picture. The service is efficient & they are always very friendly. I usually take out, but the place looks pleasant for eat in. Will always go back!! Delish!!

Would recommend and come back! Ordered the butter chicken and samosa chaat, and these were full of flavor and nicely balanced. However, this is from someone who greatly enjoys Indian cuisine and not familiar with authenticity. That said, the majority of customers were Southern Asians (it was absolutely packed on a Saturday evening) and that's always a great sign. We did have to wait 30mins for our dine-in food (were told 10mins when ordering), but this was possibly due to the large number of takeouts. Ordering: at contactless screen or through the cashier.Food: brought to the tables, however extra paper plates, utensils and drinks are all self serve. Parking: limited, since it is shared with multiple businesses, and tight so beware of poor drivers who don't know how to park well! I recommend traveling a little farther to the parking lot in front of the K-BBQ place.

Really good pastries, I'm always craving their chocolate cake. However if you're looking for good chaat, paneer, naan or main dishes would highly recommend a different restaurant.

Do yourself a favor and get food from here. If there's one thing you do today, let it be this. This is some of the BEST Indian food in San Antonio, the state of Texas, and probably the entire South. If you like butter chicken, get it from here. The meat was so unbelievably soft and tender, and the shorba was SO flavorful and had the perfect amount of spice. The rice is stupid soft and went perfectly with everything. I'm a biggg samosa chaat girlie and yall- this was IT. The meat we got was also super flavorful and not dry at ALL. Seating can be hard to get since everyone and their moms eat here (which is a sign in of itself of the quality), so getting it to go is the move. Eat here. Immediately.

Great food love the chicken 65 Also the samosa was pretty yummy the wraps with potatoes and chicken were freaking amazing!!! If we lived close we would come here and try more stuff but we don't this was a random stop before a drive out of town but it's so worth it!! Service was great the ambiance is nice quiet and traditional music! If your around the area this place is a good one to stop and check out

Menu is revolving and to fast to read. They have a QR code but would not work. Asked for a menu but they don't have any so we had to leave. What a joke.

Great food, great people behind the counter! I highly recommend this place. If you are new to Indian food, look for items that say "great for children." Or grab a veg or non-veg Thali and try everything.
