Tripas. The mother of all tacos.
$4.99 lunch special.

We decided not to go inside because we were hoping to find the buffet restaurant that used to be on Marbach by the same name. Since this is not the buffet we were hoping for, we left.

Very good food at affordable prices. I had the special which was 2 cheese enchiladas, a portion of beef fajitas with rice, refried beans and 2 tortillas. The food was excellent! Of course you get complimentary chips and salsa but at Pancho's you also get complimentary queso as well. The salsa was fresh tasting and not to spicy but flavorful as I like it. There are bottles of house salsa blends on the table and they were good also. The red one was spicy and went very nicely with the fajita tacos. (More spicy than most so proceed with caution) The staff was friendly and got the food out quickly. Oh and the special set me back a very affordable $5.95. Now if you have never been too Pancho's it is small and a bit of a hole in the wall. In saying that, the establishment appearance is ok, but the food and prices is what keeps localing back. I know I will be back!!!

Pancho's is one of those places that you just kind of stumble upon. It is a hole-in-wall on Old Highway 90 next to a convenience store/gas station. The place seats about 30 people. The staff is friendly and attentive. But enough about the place. What makes Pancho's worthy of a five-star rating by me is the food. This place is as good as it gets when it comes to serving up good breakfast tacos. Here is the breakdown:Bean, bacon & cheese - beans are scrumptious. cooked with the pork manteca that leaves a shimmer like a fresh coat of wax on a '68 Camaro. I'm talking shine, baby! And with that shine comes a taste that is like no other. The beans burst with a flavor that screams Ay Dios Mio! Add some sharp cheddar and a strip of thick cut bacon. Well, I just took my taco taste buds to a whole new level.Lengua guisada - The French aren't the only ones who like tongue. Pancho's slow cooks this meat and it becomes a fork-tender taco masterpiece. Very delicious.Winnie & Egg - Okay, that is what they call it. I call it a little taste of my childhood. Take hot dogs and cut them up. Fry with a little oil in a pan and add some eggs. Scramble and put in a flour tortilla. A favorite of mine growing up and done just like Mom used to make.Tripa Taco - I know. This is an acquired taste but one that I am very thankful to have acquired. Cooked crispy and with a flavor that screams a grito that could be heard from space. These tripas were out of this world. Served with pico de gallo either in the taco or on the side if that is how you roll.Potato and egg - Potatoes cooked just right. Eggs cooked perfect. Not much else to this staple of breakfast taco cuisine. Goes down good if you throw in some beans with it.Menudo - Had a couple of bites of this and was very impressed. Tripe was very tender and the hominy was tasty. Broth had a little kick to it and that really made everything taste even better.Bean & cheese - First time in my child's life that she ate a WHOLE taco. That is saying a lot. Same awesome beans and cheddar cheese. This place is just down right awesome. If you live near there, then I am jealous. If you don't and you have a form of transportation, then what are you waiting for? Get your taco fix at Pancho's Mexican Restaurant.

This is a perfectly fine taqueria with some nice $4.99 lunch specials that include tea. You get chips with salsa and queso (actually Ricos cheese sauce from a can) for free. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood, but it probably doesn't warrant a special trip.Note: This is a local restaurant and *not* the Pancho's buffet chain.

Tacos are good, a little skimpy on the fillings, if if you ask me. I go there because my kid who is seven, will actually finish her bean and cheese taco. We've been all over the city and when it comes to breakfast tacos I know I'm not wasting my money here. if I buy from any other place I might as well just throw my hard earned money away because my daughter will not eat the whole taco much less take two bites. This place is a blessing and the tacos are worth it so delicious.

Horrible Service! They gave my Mom rotten smelly sausage and egg. Then we return it and my Mom asked for patato with cheese ,they gave her old cold patatos and eggs. Ugh ! Very upsetting. The only thing that was okay was the coffee. Never coming back. YUCK!!!! The health inspector needs to check out this place for sure.

I just received a Door Dash order from this restaurant. Where to start? The order was not what I thought I was getting...I ordered a barbacoa plate with two eggs...what did I get? Two barbacoa tacos...I ordered a chalupa...it smelled bad...The barbacoa was cold and greasy and I don't mean runny grease, I mean cold, CONGEALED grease that could be tasted and left a skim in my mouth. The chalupa looked good but it tasted bad and when I smelled it, the cheese was rancid. I will never again use this restaurant. I let Door Dash know as well. FisherLoma Park
