Great, friendly service.Delicious, traditional Tex-Mex dishes.Very clean and stylish decor. This is a great place for out of town guests who want to experience San Antonio and Mexican food.

This place is still one of the best in SA. I'm a long time customer and the service is always great. I ordered food to go and they got the order BUT they went above and beyond and made it right. I'm so pleased to report the food is delicious and the service is top notch.I typically eat breakfast here and this time we ordered dinner. The fajita pack - with rice beans etc - the fajitas were moist and tasty, the rice, as my friend said, was cooked to "perfection". The tortillas were hot and fluffy and the salsa was fresh with just the right amount of heat (ask for the green one if you like more heat). And the charro beans are the fantastic! Many thanks to the staff and managers for making (and keeping) this place a solid go-to for Mexican food in the Alamo City.

Panchito's is a very good Mexican restaurant in Olmos with a family feeling atmosphere. The service staff takes amazing care of their patrons and do a great job of making you feel welcome. The food has never disappointed and they have a great selection of items for lunch, dinner, and even breakfast tacos. The chips and salsa are always a great hit as they have wonderful salsa with great flavor. Our son loves their quesadillas and the beef empanadas. Highly recommend going to Panchito's!

I checked in online on our way to the restaurant and were sat very shortly after we entered the building! We must have came at the perfect time because usually there is a longer wait. We were sat and greeted by our server promptly. Thomas was so on top of it and was even showing a trainee the ropes. We had our 2 girls with us (3yo & 8yo) and ordered for them first while we looked over the menu for ourselves. If you have kids you know how important it is to have them served first. Their food came so quickly and ours not long behind them. I had the taco salad, so simple but always delicious. No matter what meat I choose it's always well seasoned and flavorful. My husband had the Enchiladas Picadillo and I swear his plate was clean just about as soon as it was set down. The girls always get bean tacos which may seem easy to get right but these girls are picky about the kind of beans and tortillas and you really never know what the verdict will be with the. Hooray, we had no complaints! They were all smiles with full belly's. We are also thankful for the complimentary chips and salsa that help tame hunger and wild children! If you enjoy cocktails you can't miss with a house margarita or my favorite the Paloma. We have been here before and always enjoy it. It had been a while and it was so nice to see something's never change. They check all 3 boxes. Food, Service and Ambiance.

My daughter and I dined here last night. It was packed full of people but the service was still really good. We ordered and our plates came out in 5 minutes! Wow! I ordered the Santos combo which consisted of 2 cheese enchiladas with gravy, refried beans, rice and choice of a side. I chose the Olmos taco that has beef fajita, beans, white cheese, and grilled onions. Everything on the plate tasted fantastic and the meat was tender. The only complaint I have is it that the gravy, beans, and rice were too heavily salted. I plan to return though as the food was good Tex_Mex like from abuelas kitchen! Yummy!

This was my second time there will continue to go back. The menu has a lot of items. Service could have been a little bit better.

Went for happy hour and what a great drink selection they have!!! We were planning on eating a full plate but the appetizer were way too much food to need a full entree (is that bad- probably not!). Meat in both the Empanadas and nachos was so flavorful!!! The breading of the Empanadas was delicious! Staff so attentive and friendly! You always feel like family when you dine here!!!

Delicious Mexican food! Loved the tortilla soup, enchilada verde and salsa were awesome! Margaritas were flavorful. The ambience was great with real Mexican music and Mexican art! Ricardo was our server and he was professional, prompt and courteous! Great service. I highly recommend Panchito's!

A destination restaurant for sure. Great happy hour, managers and staff. Food always great . Atmosphere a plus, great family, friends, date night before a show get away. We went for dinner yesterday (Sunday at 6pm), we were seated and helped right away. We ordered chicken mole, the chicken was so cold but the mole sauce was hot, it's as if they just poured the sauce over cold chicken. Another person in our party order 2 chicken puffy tacos and the chicken was cold. We told our waiter and he was very apologetic and said he would bring a new plate out right away. After bringing it to their attention you just don't feel comfortable eating again. Why would they allow cold food to be served, especially chicken. Panchitos used to be very good but the quality has gone down. We will not be going back to this place. There are better places to eat Mexican food at.
