Paesanos Lincoln Heights

Paesanos is a local favorite with classic Italian american dishes that are consistent no matter which location you visit.Last week I decided to check out their Lincoln Heights location which is a little smaller compared to others. Their menu is absolutely the same, but I came during lunch hour and they had some pretty amazing specials. For my visit I ordered their chicken parmesan with fettuccine alfredo since it was recommended by our server. Frankly, I don't think it was anything out of this world, but it was a solid meal at a very decent price. However, the reason why I would come back it is not the food but the staff working there. Service is definitely five stars and everyone working there is very attentive and you can tell they care about your experience. Overall, if you are looking for an authentic Italian restaurant, this is not it. But if you are looking for just a good time and a hearty meal, then definitely check them out.

We tried Paesano's for the very first time yesterday evening, and it totally exceeded our expectations :D ! We wanted to try a new restaurant for my sister's birthday, and we are so thankful and happy we came here :) ! A friendly and courteous host named AJ greeted us really warmly and cordially right when we stepped in :) ! He saw that I was wearing my UCLA beanie and expressed his heartfelt sympathy in regards to the horrible wildfires that are going on right now in Los Angeles. We were really impressed that he already added that special touch right upon seating us at our table :) ! And it definitely set a really nice and welcoming tone and ambiance for the rest of the evening :) ! Our wonderful and amazing waitress, Solange, also made our first time here truly special :) ! She provided us with awesome recommendations when we asked about what most guests like to order :D ! And she was extremely attentive throughout the entire evening, checked on us multiple times, and made sure that she addressed any needs or concerns we had in regards to any of the choices on the menu :) ! We decided to order the special house salad upgrades, the lobster bisque, their signature Shrimp Paesano and their signature Lobster Paesano :) ! I also ordered a delicious and refreshing Sangria Rosso :D ! My sister decided to order the 1/2 bread pudding as her complimentary birthday dessert :D ! And I ordered a cappuccino ice cream pie for myself :) ! The bread with olive oil sauce was really hearty and tasty :D !Our entrees, salads, soups and desserts were extremely flavorful and delicious :D ! The lobster bisque was so rich and creamy, and were absolutely perfect for a cold winter evening like yesterday :) ! We definitely will be coming back here :D ! Paesanos is a lovely restaurant for a romantic New Yeats Eve dinner. For an early dinner, the restaurant was completely packed. Well, it is New Year's Eve! We were very lucky that they were not taking reservations or we might not have gotten in.Restaurant staff was dressed in New Year's festive attire...sequin tops and pants and heads pieces. Loved the vibe...We had the very popular shrimp paesano and chicken Parmesan....Both were delicious! The shrimp Pasaesano featured lighted battered and toasted shrimp...crispy on the outside and super moist on the inside...their signature dish. I ordered the capalinni pasta with butter and garlic. Crazy yummy..., The chicken Parmesan was super satisfying.Highly recommend Paesanos...

11 Dec 2024Went to lunch about 1:30pm. Semi-crowded. I ordered the chicken and vegetables, having never had this dish. The moral of the story is stick with what you know. The two thin chicken breasts are in a white wine sauce with julienne vegetables and mushrooms. Also a side of pasta which was OK. The 'sauce' is so thin that the food items are just swimming and sinking. Worse, there is no discernible flavor other than some lemony-ness. A real disappointment. This is the only time I have been disappointed with food at Paesanos. Our server Maddie tried to help me out by offering me a free dessert. When I declined, she asked my husband if he wanted the free dessert. He too, declined. She further stated had I said something in the beginning, she would have gladly brought me something else. Thanks.

This was actually my second visit to this restaurant. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday. Upon arrival we were greeted with smiles and friendly attitudes. The atmosphere was perfect for a night of celebration. Our waitress was the best. She had her hands full it was super busy. I ordered the Shrimp Paesano which was delicious. My daughter ordered a salmon dish my granddaughter ordered chicken Alfredo my daughter's friend ordered chicken umm I can't remember the name. Everything was delicious. I will definitely be visiting them again

My husband and I have been to Paesanos several times, but we recently went to check out happy hour. We especially appreciated that all of the drinks are made with fresh ingredients and house made syrups. We sat at the bar and really enjoyed talking with the friendly bartender, Claire. The bar area is small, but cozy. It's a great spot for happy hour appetizers and drinks.

Always a favorite to visit when we're in town. I never get anything except their famous Shrimp Paesano and it never disappoints! Get it for lunch or dinner, and it comes with a starter salad, vegetable side of choice, and spaghetti with either red sauce or garlic butter sauce. We've been served by George the last couple times I've been there and he's been super kind, very attentive, and efficient. Thank you for taking great care of us, George!Free parking in the lot. We had a party 21 and the waiter was awesome! He got all the order correct and kept refilling out drinks and bringing the varietals of bread and oil. The place is big enough to accommodate various large party and it has a relaxing and romantic lightning. I ordered the steak and it wasn't all I thought it was going to be for the price tag. It looked like a large meatball with lots of cream and pasta. I was so looking forward to the taste and presentation but was let down. The steak and sauce didn't have to taste and the pasta was...well, pasta with no flavor. At least the variety of bread was good.

My family and I visited here for a pre-graduation ceremony meal. I had visited a couple of the other Paesanos locations around town but this would be my first visit to this location. Since we were a larger party, we were seated near the kitchen. I went with the house salad to start and the cheese ravioli with veal meatballs as my entree. I thought both were great. I was surprised by the amount of raviolis I received as well. They used a smaller size of raviolis for this particular dish. There were two meatballs with the dish and they were quite tender. The bread was really good as well! I would definitely come back in the future!
