Out Of The Way Cafe

We drove over 4 and a half hours to visit Our of yue Way Cafe. (Fort Worth, Tx) The food was awesome, I had the mocha and it was very yummy. I even got a white mocha for the road and ot was even better. The ranch was to die for. The french toast and biscuits and gravy was on point, and my hubby said the grilled cheese with bacon and onion rings was beyond tasty. Erica was beyond attentive with everybody. She went above and beyond. Shane made the best food I have had in a long time. Erica and Shane do such an awesome job for their community as well. They are pure angel's. The ambiance is perfect. Very mom and pop's. Which I love. If you have the time it is worth the drive.

We finally ate here last week after wanting to for years! It did not disappoint. The chicken fried steak is the best I have had in the whole county. The fried okra is great too. My husband got the burger and he loved it. There are lots of activity areas for kids. This is probably the best place to take your kids to eat, if you can make it there for breakfast or lunch.On top of all this, the owners and staff from the restaurant operate a community giving area next door. It's a beautiful thing.Way to go, Out of the Way Cafe! You are doing great things!

Highly recommend! Good food, prepared well, served hot and fresh. Good variety on the menu; nothing crazy fancy but all we tried great. Thick and juicy burger. Perfect grilled cheese. Really good breakfast sandwich. Great sides (get the french fries!). Nice cup of coffee too. The restaurant is a bit rustic, but very clean. Couple of rooms, one with tables and one with games and sofas. Parking front and rear. Outdoor seating front and rear. Restroom out front into another door (shared with multiple businesses I believe). Very friendly and helpful staff. Just a great experience, definitely appropriately named but worth the trip!

The food is very good and made just for you. Nice and warm and yummy to eat. The iced coffee yummy! The service is great .

Amazing locally owned resturant me and my husband found it on yelp and decided to take a drive from San Antonio and it was well worth it amazing customer service and guidance towards decision making 10:10 would recommend we would definitely be returning

I've been a few times The food is consistently amazing the coffee is great ordered a variety pack online came quickly Excellent Service and ambiance they do a ton for the community they are in Defiantly check it out if your in the Area!

Would have liked to try it, but the hours are apparently 'whenever' vs the website & door hours of Wed-Mon 7-3. Arrived at 7:45 on Sunday to a closed cafe & stayed until 8, no one ever showed up. Disappointing, as we were willing to give it a try even with the recent one star reviews.

The food is always delicious! The coffee options are endless. We love the new location! The owners are amazing and really give back to the community. Lots of fun stuff for the kiddos (and adults) to do while you wait for your meal. We stay in Lakehills quite a bit and ALWAYS have breakfast and/or lunch here.

This place isnt very good. Very run down and and in an area that isnt very good. Worried about parking my car there. The food is barely margenal and very expensive. 35 dollars for 2 people to have a mediocre breakfast is far to expensive. Especially in a place like this. 20 bux is probably fair for what we got. Noone broke into my car while I could definitely see that happening.
